Just found you. I now understand why people have always reacted to me the way they do. I’m not odd after all. Not Autistic, not quirky, not special, not deaf, not sad, not insane. I’m just the child I always was when I first stood looking up to the clouds and asked myself “Why can’t I hear the incessant noise around me” Now I know it’s because I was in my moment. Amazing that I had the knowledge to know myself at that young age.

This resonated with me fully… at approximately 11 years old something uncovered within…. But this uncovering I only noticed later in life when looking back, I was different and could notice / understand others behaviour …tbh I thought everyone thought like I did…. as you would if you think about it. It’s only later in life we can notice this if we seek the truth…

I think it's brilliant that Eckhart had realized the two selves within himself and suddenly understood which one to let go of, our self identifying one, the one that creates most of our unhappiness and suffering. So therefore, awakening is a realization that frees us from the ( ego trap ) and catapults us into a higher state of consciousness where we then know ourselves as the awareness that is aware of itself, and by realizing this we become a lot more happier and at peace with ourselves in the present moment. Thanks again Eckhart.

I think when we are ready, we reach that point that we literally cannot take it anymore, that then becomes the opening for transformation. I think it has happened to many of us and will happen to more as they become ready. As Eckhart said, suffering is our best teacher and when I look back at my life, I see that without the suffering I’d highly unlikely be here now. Thank you Eckhart much love and respect to you ❤

"A teacher called suffering" wow thank you for reminding me of this. I agree we have to reach a point where we no longer choose to suffer and continue to do the things that maintain our suffering, simple but not always easy of course. A sudden awakening sounds wonderful but currently I am one of those who has to continually practice choosing not to suffer as the alternative is still very much on offer to me 😕but compared to the poorly place I was once in I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever only very genuine gratitude 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Blessings of peace, harmony, love and joy and all your hearts desires manifest in perfect divine timing!🙏 ✨🌟💛🌟✨

The idea that feeling we are the thoughts or emotions is an illusion created by the ego is central to many spiritual traditions. Consciousness itself, as you pointed out, remains untouched, unchanging, and free from any identification, attachment, or transformation. It is the ego, a construct of the mind, that creates the illusion of identification with thoughts and emotions. Consciousness is the constant, silent witness to these experiences, always present but never involved in the mental or emotional fluctuations. This perspective helps in cultivating awareness of the ego’s role in creating attachment and identification, encouraging a deeper recognition of consciousness as pure awareness. It also suggests that true freedom lies in realizing that we are not the thoughts, emotions, or the ego but rather the consciousness that observes them. This can lead to a more peaceful and liberated state of being.

Quality of life is always primary and essential like rainfall or the forests or the sky. Just go out and look. Observe the sky. That is the goodness of life. The now. Rejoice because of the unknown. Ride that wave of the present unfolding of life. It’s glory. It’s truth. Rejoice as this is the great victory over existence - rejoicing in the present.

Appreciating the distinction between consciousness and thinking is truly revolutionary. Understanding our essential nature as pure consciousness - “ the eternal witness of all thought and action “ - is spiritual rebirth / awakening / self realisation , and permits detachment . I can now understand opening the Buddhist “Doors of Liberation “ - No self , No form , No aim - involves Conciousness stepping out from the prison of thought .

If you see people awakening slowly and with great meaning, then that is where your attention is. Your choice, of course. Every moment you breathe you are making choices. For your growth or for your ego. For others or for yourself. Own your choices. ❤

The consciousness does not become thoughts or emotions . Consciousness is the light that allows us to be aware of thoughts, emotions, or any other psychological or sensory experience. Consciousness never identifies with anything, It is unattached and unaffected by what is happening to mind and body. It is the ego that creates identifications, making us feel as though we are what we identify with.

The broken body remains yet healing. Pain without suffering. No Fear, guilt, shame, pride,....... And things take time. Be patient with yourself. No one knows it all. You’ll get it… it’s a journey. So many people feel like they know it all and are still lost. One way to get out of this trap of thought, is to exercise. Get into your body, become aware of your body. That takes the load off of the mind and thinking, and places thought elsewhere - rather an awareness not even thought. Gymnasts going through their routines are above thought, they act unconsciously - the subconscious takes over and that is a relief from thought. Eckhart does not look like aperson who exercises much. If he had exercised he might have had his awakening sooner.

It is true that the mind's source is consciousness, and without consciousness, there cannot be a mind. However, once the mind manifests as mind, although it is connected to and originates from consciousness, it functions according to its own nature. The mind, by its very nature, creates thoughts, emotions, imaginations, and fantasies, and it also has various functions such as understanding, analyzing, comparing, and discerning. But all these functions and projections-thoughts, images, imaginations, emotions, and desires-are not created directly by consciousness. Consciousness is always present because it is the origin and the background of the mind. However, thoughts and emotions are created by the mind, not by consciousness directly. But Tolle says very precisely that consciousness itself modifies into thoughts, becomes thoughts, consciously becomes thoughts, which I believe is false, based on my experience and the teachings of all great traditions.

I dont think his experience is necessarily an awakening experience. Many people confuse their experiences like this in my opinion.

*I'm overjoyed and grateful to see God's blessings and abundance manifest in my family's life. We're thriving and happy once again, and I can now provide for my loved ones even in retirement, thanks to a remarkable weekly income of $67,000. It's a game-changer after* *facing many challenges*.

No disrespect to Eckhart or anything but that is so funny. If his shirt was the same color it would almost look like an optical illusion where his head and hands would only seem to be moving about n stuff, lol. I'm pretty sure Eckhart would find it funny too though, y'know?😂

Hes basically an elder wizard light deity. If it were up to me he'd be the next wizard revealed i. The lord of the rings series. Def one of the greatest and most influencial spiritual leaders/public figures of our time. Much respect. His sensenof humors best part, necessary.

0:30 People confuse life’s situations with life. 3:11 When you are in the present, you are alert and you notice life around you. You are aware of yourself as the awared presence. Thanks Eckhart. 18 August 2024. 😎🐣🍇🦜🐿🦜🤣🌼🤣👍🏻💖☘️

There is no shift. It’s more of an oooze you don’t notice until somethings you used to see a certain way just ain’t that way anymore 🤷🏼‍♂️

This exact realisation happened to me the other day. A situation/thing I used to have a serious issue with just doesn’t bring up the same conflict that it used to - and, I became aware of this in the moment one of these situations came up I just noticed I wasn’t reacting like I used to.

@@SamA-nj7yr Yes… the whole “awakening” or “shifting” gets us expecting it, looking for it… When we “notice” what we are chatting about we can see that “we don’t do it”….”it does us” and all we do is observe the effect of spiritual vitamins due to faith in truth ✨

It really does feel that way, like it came and went, came and went... Then all of a sudden... One day you are like yeah something feels different... And then things start to settle into place. ❤Great comment and totally similar to what I went through.

@@CheesusSVT I’m so happy this resonates with you, You won’t know you have grown until something that used to feel a certain way, just doesn’t feel that way anymore… a beautiful gauge of authentic growth, not seeking nor searching…just noticing and then bathing within this truth of deeper knowing. May you experience this more and more! 🙏🏻✨

People who "see" you as a person, as a separate fragment of the ONENESS we truly are (because they regard themselves as a separate cell/part too) go on and on judging if you are great teacher or an impostor. But both are mistaken. Your words are just the finger pointing at fhe moon. The idiots look at fhe finger...😊
