Yesterday, after being full of thought, I suddenly kind of gave up and went aware of the present moment. It was a big shift, such a miracle. Then, the following days were full of peace, joy and love to everything I paid attention to. There was no future, no fear. I awake. Unfortunately, today I have been trapped into thought and ego. But I feel different now. Now im somehow more aware than before. I feel something big that wants to come trough me. Eckhart's videos and forum really helps. Sending love to everyone who is in this path.

Faults that's only one small aspect you have to do some true healing of the Mind work which Eckhart totally knows nothing about being in the present moment doesn't do you any good you need mental honesty beyond what he knows about the big problem is all you new agers think you're the avant-garde and you are nothing you're not even beginning to be honest let alone heal your own minds you ignore the people who have already ascended because you think they're going to walk up to you tossing lilies on the ground in bare feet and white robes your ignorance is very evident and while you try to give counsel to other people that you think need to hear your advice you ignore the advice of the ascended humans on this planet completely

I don’t know if this helps anyone else but I stumbled upon something that brings presence no matter what for a few seconds at a time --which do add up! Throughout the day as I begin to feel negative emotions arise I focus on “feeling” the sensation of life in my body. There’s a slight tingle that is always there - it’s a matter of noticing it. At least for me but so many meditation practices also elude to it. I’ve also found it helpful when I am in physical pain and also when feeling panic. It’s subtle but very much life changing.

The last few days I've been remembering this image of a resistor wired to a short circuit (I'm an Electronics engineer lol) and a text alongside that says "Resistance is futile". As Eckhart says, resistance to the is-ness of the present moment is of no avail. Instead of offering resistance to the Now it should be better to be friends with it. It is very difficult to achieve, but there is some progress in me realizing it. The structures of the ego are so hard to dismantle...

It's not about being "surrounded by egotistical people". As long as you blame others your ego thrives. It's about overcoming the false self from within. In fact "other people" who are unconscious can even propel you out of your own egoic state because the more obnoxious egoic behavior becomes the easier it is to distance yourself from it in many cases.

"Be patient. Do not let your emotions drive you here and drive you there, for the workings of the heart are beyond the emotions that you feel day to day and moment to moment. They represent the great undercurrent. Like the great undercurrents that move the waters of the oceans of this world, they move the direction of your life. Yet like the great undercurrents of the oceans, they are not seen or recognized from the surface. If you live at the surface of your mind, you will be swayed by this thought and that thought and the thoughts of others. You will be governed by the mental environment in which you live." I would advise not to assume it takes a whole lifetime. It takes now. And staying with the energy you sense within. It really is about caring enough where your focus goes and how you experience this moment. The more longer you focus within on the energy, each time a thought arises taking attention back to the energy, it reveals a whole different reality, I would say. It's absolutely astonishing. Heaven on earth.
@daodejing81 Жыл бұрын
Indeed, as you and Eckhart said, be present with awareness. However, there is a process that requires spiritual homework, and that is the essence of know thyself. For example, some are attached to image, and so reject truth. In such cases, the present moment cannot assist such a one unless and until they participate earnestly in their spiritual homework, or spiritual practice.

many years ago after my awakening started there was the subsequent demise of the ego but the seeking energy would still rear its head which is all a part of the universal intelligence at play. I got in touch with a lady who I knew was fully awake, towards the end of the session she said ' and it may never happen' (meaning self realisation). we ended the session and I was totally devastated then within seconds I felt liberated. I saw the ego was still holding on to the idea that I would get something which of course you don't and in recognising this liberation arose and the seeking energy just fell away . the frustration people experience is that the seeking energy has to collapse, which arises from a genuine surrender you can't make it happen and resignation is just the ego feeling despondent an illusionary letting go. then the inner journey begins where the programming, conditioning and socialising structures start to dismantle either all at once (which is rare) or over time leaving you with the heart you were born with....your true nature.

I first came across Eckhart Tolle 24 years ago. Now I´m 58 and I believe I´m finally beginning to grasp "Internally" what the present moment is about. Why it took this long, I have no idea. But, I believe the moment is finally here and I´m just glad things came through for me spiritually. I´ve been practicing separation from throught / and the train of emotions for a while now, and gradually my life has become more peaceful. That doesn´t mean problems just go away, or the train of though stops all of a sudden. It´s still there, I only manage feelings and things that happen around me differently and my life is more peaceful and happier.

Especially elderly people who have been in the same pattern of ego all their lives, it is a very difficult process to 'improve' until the 'switchover', so to speak. Young people who are raised in the ego-less condition from childhood have the greater benefit of awakening. I am not that young any more and can confirm this.

Everyone is where they are suppose the be on their OWN journey at their own awareness level. None are better than another. We all get there...

I am grateful to be reminded of the context in Eckhart's answer. It will feel like a miracle to have reached that goal in this lifetime, but I think, with vigilance, it will be like accruing money in the bank.

Chris, once you are in a relaxed state, and are aware, then aware that you are aware; let go. Become that which is Aware. No seeking, grasping, or reaching. Also, occasionally ask, “who am I?"

Awakening is not a goal. Making something into a goal is postponing it. Awake now not later, one day, or "by 2050". It's a shift of perspective, nothing you can accomplish.

Absolutely beautiful as usual and I know when I’m in this state and more n more I’m bringing it into situations in my day not even talking about it just allowing the awareness to seep over me... bliss and bless you for making it so simple n clear ❤️🙏

We are shedding thousands of years of collective conditioning... when it's put that way, it truly is miraculous. Thank you!

My awakening comes and goes. Drinking makes it 10times worse and almost forget the whole thing happened. Dont drink! Re - awaken and never let it go

This is a PERFECT explanation and is exactly what I teach as well, especially the concept of collective ego and how we easily get pulled into that collective trap. We're not separate, we are individual manifestation of the collective whole and the really cool thing is if you get deeper into your presence practice it helps everyone develop greater presence as it adds to the collective. As you learn how to consciously manifest your reality through presence, entering the Quantum and creating your reality from the field of energy that created everything it helps everyone find their way to true conscious manifestation

Eckharts stillness speaks which u can find free on u tube can help one experience the silence, stillness, peace choiceless awareness (whatever word one uses)as he says if u just listen to chapter one that can be enough....helped me immensely cut through all the words as they are of course just pointers..hope this helps someone on there journey(as an interesting side note pay attention when you listen as your ego won't like it and wants to put u to sleep)💕

Am I awake at this moment? This is the key question! Take responsibility for presence in the here and now! Kind of holy task! Sounds indeed very simple, but so difficult to do. Because you can only take this responsibility when you are present, when presence is there. When ego takes over, when you are challenged, the feeling or even the slightest notion of taking responsibility for being present is miles away!

I have been falling for this little trap lately. Asking how long its going to take is like an itch trying to scratch itself. The question itself is the ego trying to perpetuate itself.

That’s what Jon Anderson said on topographic Oceans. That all our thoughts and impressions and fears have been developing for millions of years. Hopefully, we should appreciate that given points in time are not as important as the nature of what is impressed on the mind and how it is retained and used.

With enough focus an ashtray can tell me things that will make me have realizations. Like my ashtray just told me to relax and not worry. If I focus hard enough a picture will reply anything I ask very accurately. I can chat with a picture for half hour, people will think I’m crazy but they talk to other people which don’t make any sense the subject they are talking about
