Minecraft Revealed NEW Wood Type & Hostile Mob Sounds!

given the name of the hostile mob, and the new wood type, and the sound of the mob, i believe the creaking is gonna be some walking tree siren head type monster. you know, its gonna be very skinny and probably white since the new wood is white, so the creaking will probably match the biome its in to camouflage. the monster might resemble the ent monster

Using a color picking tool, the leaves and bark both have desaturated purple colors. so the wood is indeed white.

Yeah, the crossed out logs lead me to thinking they are bringing attention to how colorful those are vs the pale wood. Edit: They even have a neutral color to show it isn't like that either.

We know it is the actual color, because the texture for the logs and leaves is not the same as any that exist in the game now, and even if you decolorize the logs, none of the current ones have that much contrast between the bark and the center

Maybe the pale forest used to be a normal forest, but then got corrupted by the end, similar to the warped forest in the nether. But I guess we have to wait for the Minecraft Live to really find out.

3:11 if you look very very closely at the image you could make out what appears to be another set of white eyes followed by another singular eye on the right which I’m assuming it’s hiding behind what looks like either a new structure or house, interesting as it is if you could look closely at the other two pares of eyes you could almost see that this mob has a zigzagged mouth which ig are it’s teeth. I think the creaking is based off of the old design of the warden because the theme of the biome is white and the warden was gonna be white and it had things on its heads that looked like sirens kinda not really

The pale grass seems to be using the existing snowy grass texture from Java edition. I wonder if they are just combing the two blocks or if there will be a new texture.

That pale grass is a bugged grass block from java. It happens when a snow layer is removed from a grass block.

I think this new biome could have fog complementary to it. If that is the case, then this biome could be challenging like the deep dark, but the players would have to be the blind listeners of the sneaky creaker as a loud stalker coming from different directions in hopes of ambushing the trespasser.

Hypothetically, how scary would it be to have to mine a mob for blocks? In a biome where more of the same mob can creep up behind you? It would certainly explain why the other logs are crossed out, this isn't obtained in even remotely the same way. It just reminded me of the game Greener Grass Awaits, a horror... golfing game. Yeah, a horror golfing game. It's actually a super tense game, because the golf ball creates a point you need to stand at even when you're being chased, and aiming to ball at the hole forces you to look away from any threats chasing you. It's genuinely tremendously stressful. I wonder if we're operating with enderman mechanics or instead the opposite of them. Do we need to keep an eye on the mob to stop it from attacking us?
