Well the deep dark is a pretty close comparison already, it can spread and destroy natural blocks nearby Sort of implied to be not friendly at all So we may have 2 types or corrupt biomes

At 5:02 in the bottom left, you can see a tree that's half normal and half "creaking" It's very likely the greyed out portions are infected by something, which can then spread

Trees that have biome color grading can change colors when they are split. Ex: Plant a tree on the edge of a jungle biome and desert and the tree will have different colors.

To all the complainers out there.. 1: We'll get an end update eventually, we all want it, its fine to not get what you want immediately 2: this biome and stuff looks very interesting not boring I don't get why everybody acts like this is just boring and lame not unique at all 3: this stuff doesn't seem useless at all, we dont know what any of this stuff does or how any of it works yet 4: the leaks do not reveal the whole update, the mobs and the biome and the blocks just on a surface level does not reveal how the update works in all of it's intricacies Overall I'd say this is a very exciting potential drop, i honestly think this works better as part of Bundles and Bravery, since you have to be brave to go into the Pale Gardens I'd imagine People are not patient enough, and i think a lot of the criticism given is unconstructive and disingenuous. It looks terrible and not in a good way. It's lazily just a retextured dark oak forest. The supposed function of the mob is something that you could have made all the way back in 2011 (Weeping Angels mod)! The textures used are frankly boring and the transition from one biome to the next is done terribly. I'm a usual ardent defender of Mojang, but come on, it is lazy!

@@billbenedon4025 The problem that i see is, that there doesn't seem to be anything cool to talk about, like what do we have, retexture of dark oak wood(which we dont even know if they will add a separate texture for since look at azalea), a reversed enderman,which shouldnt take long to make since they fundimental mechanics are already in minecraft, and a block that spawns more of that mob. I wanna be positive, but even official mojang sneak peaks look like its the only thing that they have. I think this is fake , the pose of the creaking never changes and always completely stiff , and mojang always makes mobs with good animations , and even without fancy animations you would think the head would rotate a bit, the tree image has a block with a gradient that is too smooth and dosent seem to follow the pixels , the borders between the 3 tree blocks are kinda off , and in the same image the eyes seem to glow far brighter than any emissive texture is able to in a bright environment

Also the also the glowing lines behind the lady commentator and jeb seem to be glowing but dont look like any glowing object irl , they seem to be hanging from the ceiling but are too densely packed and completely straight to be leds and the one to her left seems to cut off midway through then start glowing again , with no wires visible inbetween

I believe that I know how the mob is going to work! First, if its like a reverse-enderman, its basically that scp from a few years ago. SECOND! it'll work like the spider. Here is why, every video/clip showing "behavior" of the mob, it has been dark. Spiders are hostile during the night or in completely dark areas. So, at night, or in dark areas, the Creeking will become hostile.

That tree you said was covered in amber was def part of the summoning process for getting the creaking, which is why they had the heart, that's vital for the summoning dontchakno, creaking =our newest 'pet' type mob confirmed, obviouslyyyy.

The pale garden seems to spread, or at least infect anything in it's vicinity, Based on the fact that you can see how these trees look just like the ones in the dark oak forest, (which is also right next to it), and the fact that some of the normal dark oak trees seem to be half infected, with a couple pale leaves and pale logs.

Gonna guess that the enchanted axe on that image has silk touch on it. They might be trying to give a use for silk touch besides just the pickaxe. Maybe you have to silktouch axe the Creaking heart tree block to get it.

But for tree being pushed by piston, person in orange from before is behind the tree, so pushed a button or flipped a lever. But looking at the bottom of the tree, it looks like the whole tree was moved. Potentially pushing these tree blocks doesn't just move the single block. If connected to other blocks, it moves them all and then creates the orange color in the tree for the first block next to the one being pushed.

With what I’m seeing, I’m not sold. Not because it’s not an End Biome but because it just looks boring and out of place. I like the Creaking itself and the blocks look alright but the images being during the day do not do the biome any justice. The overall vibe isn’t all there either, you’d think there would be some kind of fog or darkness when you enter or even get close to the Pale Garden. I feel like they should do what they did with mountains and have a layering thing, like a transitioning biome to surround the pale garden to make it fit well with the world. Hopefully, the biome looks better at night and in movement but with what I see, there’s a lot to be desired.

Kill the creaking, replace a log in a dark oak tree, that deteriorates by going though into the “sap”, then it corrupts the whole tree. That’s what I’d expect

You know how in different biomes the same Grass Blocks, single grass plants and the tree leaves have a different shade of green? Looks to me like in that new biome, the regular grass and leaves stuff just have a super pale shade. The white wood does seem to be a new type of tree though.

Last update with sniffers and archeology system focused heavily un digging up the past. New trees have what appear to be AMBERS that contain ancient preserved creatures from the past, we can already hatch ancient sniffers. They seem to be very interested in our ability to connect ourselves with the beings of the ancient world. My theory; what if the portals in the ANCIENT city doesn't take us to a new dimension, but the same dimension just a LONG time ago, before the end dimension was reached or maybe before the players ever arrived. ALSO- the Creaking gives serious Lethal Company Brakken Vibes but the theory board says "DONT LOOK" So im assuming that, like the Endermen, its only hostile if you look at it for too long.

The amber looking stuff seems to be acting like slime to those logs which is very interesting. Perhaps it is a selectivly sticky block. Like it only is sticky to wood or just on the two sides, either of which i think could he very helpful in hiding doors and whatnot. If it really is a terrarian sort of corruption then that would mean it would change the biome of the area which is awesome. Adding that would probably mean we could change the biome of an area with commands like java which ive wanted for a while. The creaking would also be nice as a neutral mob as daytime would still be safe but we would still fight them because the hearts are probably deaireable. Anyway thanks for listening to my rambling.

@@tageru1541 yeah that's true, but the thing in this case is that Terraria has a very loyal fanbase and biome spread is one of it's key features. Doing that would probably make everyone hate mojang (considering the amount of hate they already get)
