Love your videos! ❤ I appreciate the views 😉 🔥 😅❤ and the extreme rock filming. I see that your physically fit but you're like a mountain goat and make those rocks look easy 😅 I greatly appreciate your ability to film and bring the forest and trail to life. We live in a beautiful world and not everyone has that ability. I wouldn't want to sleep with snakes either. 😮 😅 Those snake's must be eating quite well to be that large. 😅 I also appreciate your respect for others, for sharing and acknowledging other people. Captain Jack you're touching lives and making a difference in life. Maybe you've found your calling. 😉 Your parents can be really proud of you. I hope that you are doing well with your addiction. 🙏 God Bless ❤

I wouldn’t want to sleep with those snakes either! Glad your tripod stayed put today! You scramble over those rocks very efficiently. Nice coverage of the trail and surrounding scenery!

So cool to see a familiar spot! I drive past The Lookout every time I take my mom to one of her medical appointments in Allentown. And okay, I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but there's Mr. Snake, lolling around and enjoynig the primo comforts of a nice, dry shelter, and Captain Jack, sleeping on a picnic table . . . :D :D (I would have made the same decision. ;) )

Interesting day. Fog to start, rocks galore, and snakes to end, but you didn't loose a tripod. Lovin' your videos. Sleep good and will be waiting for the next one.

Those snakes were no joke. Looks like you found a way to coexist with them and stay out of their way. The hostel was nice! That overlook was a plus. Looks like a cool place to hang out while doing laundry and re-supply.

C-Jack...when you get back to Louisiana, invest in a good food dehydrator. you can make your own organic fruit roll-ups and YOU control the ingredients. Blend the ingredients...pour onto a parchment in the dehydrator...once properly dehydrated you can then vacuum seal them. In a cool, dry place they will last for weeks prior to Trail need. If frozen, can last for months until needed. There are online reference to instruct on how its done. I'm going to make some Pemican, my own fruit roll-ups, and other dehydrated soup ingredients meals for trail food soon.

I love those kinds of neighbors at night. Keep them pesky mice and rattlesnakes away. They will only come cuddle with you for warmth. Great shots of those snakes!

That Black Snake ALSO knows where the mice are! The upside of that scenario is there probably were not any mice around in the shelter during that time.

There’s a Venmo link in the channel description and it should be in the video descriptions too, if you’d like to donate. But if you want to send a care package that’s cool too. Message me on insta gram and we can coordinate.

I’d share space w/ that snake. He’ll keep poisonous snakes away & from at all those shelter mice. Just use a trekking pole to put him under the cabin. Bet that cabin did have a bunch of mice.

10:55 Great to have that self-awareness. Trick is to be aware when you’ve got a troubled mind (like with the knee), try to hold off on just reacting to folks, give things a chance to dissipate or set in. If things dissipate, nothin’ to regret. If they set in, you can let em’ have it with no regrets! I like to think that’s wisdom come with age, but it’s hard-earned whatever it is. 😜 Love the LoTR call-out. Brought the Nazgul down on you tho at 20:01. 😉

It's not you. I live here and know these trails and I agree, there are NOT enough white blazes in PA. I've bitched about that before. But don't know who you tell about it.
@excession30766 ай бұрын
So if you slept in the shelter, would the snakes stay away or come and investigate? Perhaps because they would like the warmth? We only have one poisonous snake in the UK, and it's not very poisonous anyway. And if you are lucky enough to see one, they slither away fast, they are very timid. So yeah, I probably would have stayed with the snakes if I knew they weren't poisonous, it's just not something that I've ever had to worry about. Long as they ate the spiders, spiders are a whole different level of terror.
