Bro we love you for reviewing our tracks and honestly your review on my track made my production experience way more enjoyable it's like I stopped trying to be the best and just make what I wanna hear in the track like the track tells me where to go instead of me trying different things it's like I hear what the track wants before the time if that makes sense.

16:41 This was an excellent video. You made a lot of excellent points. I did notice from great psytrance that the thing they all have in common is that the layers are as minimal as possible. Not only does this make the music more accessible to a broader audience, it also helps keep the listener from tiring out their ears.

bro... this is what really makes the difference between an amateur and professional production.. such an eye opener for me... just implemented it recently and damn it made everything so much easier while being way more effective... previously I would just smash my head against the wall with 1000 milion different sounds :D

Literally the exact same way I feel. I just realized my tracks from 4 - 5 years ago have better flow than my newer productions and it's literally because I used to "feel" the tracks more instead of just producing and adding cool sounds to impress other producers.

Agree with everything that you say Simple works. When you had a lot of information and then reduced just to the vocal and the kick and base comes like a hard punch to the gut , that’s the best way to do it in my opinion. This way the kick & base can be more in the front , get more focus by the the listener, without to many one shots in the first bars of the kick and base , only later , just how you said it & did it Loved this one! And much luck with your future projects (club and more!)

I'd love a video on making music DJ friendly. I think I'm doing that by mainly sticking to 16 bar sections in the parts where one would mix from one track to anothe, but I'm worried that's not enough...

Sounds very interesting. I also want to create a similar sound design. Thank you for the video:)

Thank you sir, been watching your videos. Absolutely fine work! I was wondering why most psy-trance producers choose Cubase instead of other DAWs .. ? I own Ableton, yet i Love FL studio as it's nice and visually predisposing for creative work. I was wondering if there is a specific reason, or it's just cultural at this point?
@EClipChannel Жыл бұрын
It’s the most stable daw, it was, latest version are not so as they used to be. Ableton has a huge problem with latency, which makes it completely impossible to work with in my case. Other daws have advantages and disadvantages, but there are not many things you can’t do in Cubase.

My biggest struggle is that I don't work fast enough, after 10 to 15 sessions I'm bored and uninspired with the track. I need to learn how to work faster :-)

Create some rules. I am kind of the same way as you. Often feeling uninspired. Set rules and time lines for things. Might help

simplistic...? theres a lease 30+ tracks elements to just to make that song, I don't se simplistic... but only complex
@EClipChannel Жыл бұрын
There are 164 channels. But the point is not how many layers to use for sound design purposes, but how many times they repeat and how often they play.
