Have you ever taken this puppy up past FL180? I’m not hip to oxygen use, etc. with the eclipse but if I had one of these and an IFR cert, I feel like that would definitely be on my mind

Unless it was a super short hop, I was routinely at FL340 or 350. Occasionally up to FL410.

What you see is pretty much what I do it all the time, except I don’t laugh much when I’m alone. I do talk to myself though. I try to stay consistent. If you change things for any reason you start to get out of rhythm.

I have it on X-plane as well. I find the avionics confusing, and it disrupts the normal flow. Wish they could have modeled it more like the real plane.

Thank you, I remember meeting Dave. Great guy. I’ve talked to maintenance in ABQ within the last month or so and everything seems to be operational as far as maintenance that is. This video is from some footage i made awhile back, finally got it edited and posted it. N500DG is with new owner now.

I'm looking to buy a vlj and live this but I am told not to buy an eclipse because of parts supply issue. Is this true? What is the timing look like for parts supply?

I don’t know what the supply issues is currently. They have had issues in the past, but the last I’d heard was the company had been bought out and supply issues were getting better. If you can get pst the supplies issues, this would be a great plane to operate. Just make sure to one that’s upgraded to at least a 2.7, or plan to upgrade it. Check to see if flaps and gear are upgraded to Tawagawa version. Compared to the Vision Jet, other than the avionics, there is no comparison. If you only plan on 2-4 people this is a great plane.
