Moon losing his memory was probably the best thing that happened to him. He doesn't have trama and stress weighing him down so he is more free to express himself and make jokes about stuff. It also makes him more level headed

Even though I still kinda miss the old Moon, I agree I think this was the best thing that happened to him. Cause yeah he no longer has stress and trauma from the past, no guilt, and yeah he's more level headed and has freedom to think clearly. He's also a bit more of a goofball and loves his brother more than ever, yes the old Moon loved and cared about Sun too but new Moon's love for his brother seemed to double. ^w^

Especially the way some of his speaking during the Amanda episode sounded almost forced. The fact that stuff like that didn't start happening until the day after the creator stopped by and said that he'd come back and give Moon a "checkup" that night while they sleep... I'm almost wondering if he did something to Moony. 😰 Idk, I just find it weird and a bit sus that the first ever time New Moon got physically aggressive was the lore episode directly following the creator's visit. It feels way too connected to be a coincidence...

Oh yes. Eclipse lore!! Sun went OFF on him! It was honestly satisfying to see him snap and shout back at Eclipse, having enough of Eclipse’s crap. And calling him out for said crap. There was a lot to unpack here. And the fact that Eclipse was completely silent throughout the whole talk says A LOT. Both Sun and Moon just don’t take him seriously anymore. Eclipse is bored and has no purpose. And the topic of him being in pain. He may be as smart as Moon, but he’s also an idiot. Does he not know? Does he just not care that the star is killing him? Is it his pride? What is going on in his head? I wonder if the next lore video will be from his POV on things. Also I love how Moon encourages Sun to be more expressive with his emotions

I think Eclipse is severely depressed and suicidal, he clearly knows that the star is hurting him, he's expressed that in past lore videos, however the fact that he just doesn't care shows that I think he may genuinely WANT to die and he views the star as like his count down, and when the star finally kills him I think he'd be fine with that- Maybe even WANT that. That may also be why he's been conversing with the people from other shows more since he wants to do more things before he dies.

This is quite interesting.... There is definitely a lot to unpack. It's definitely different interactions compared to how they used to react in the past. Sure Moon got factory reseted and Sun is beyond tired with... Well everything that happened so far... Perhaps Eclipse misses "the good old days"? Where he actually gets reactions he was satisfied with? Who knows Besides Eclipse... This got me thinking about the other Eclipses.... Good Eclipse got a reason to keep going is his goal to fix Sun & Moon in his dimension (And probably another reason to keep going to an extent, after hearing news of Lunar's death) Lord Eclipse got his "perfect universe" he wanted but was bored or had nothing to achieve after getting his goals... Speaking of Lord Eclipse.... WHY didn't Eclipse go through with his original plan? Why didn't he get rid of one(or well... Two in this case) of his biggest thorns on his side, like he did with Lunar? What possible changed his mind? Who know... That's gonna be a can of worms to open at some point either way Excited to see what may happen next TLDR: This keeps getting closer and closer to Marvel and DC I swear xD And Eclipse got unresolved issues

I definitely think that killing Lunar added to it. Once he had that star in his hands, he was probably lower craz for a while since the first thing he did was kill Lunar. (Probably because Lunar left him.) And now that the star is killing him, all that power craz is gone and he is realizing so many things. He probably doesn't know what to do. Like we've seen in most Aus.. Eclipse has a attachment in some way, shape or form to Lunar. Its a common and reoccurring theme.

Eclipse is in pain? Deserved, but also concerning. In fact, this entire episode was concerning, and sad. Especially the part about whether or not Eclipse knows he’s slowly dying from the star, not knowing what he truly wants, and not having a reason to live. I do believe he deserves some comeuppance for his actions, but I also feel bad for him and I hope he doesn’t die. I genuinely hope that instead, he can get some more therapy, and that he realizes that hurting people won’t make him happy.

Realizing how deep this is going, honestly, i feel a little bit bad for Eclipse. He really has no purpose now does he? Sun was right about him. He has nothing. Nothing to gain, and nothing to lose. God i hate how long i've also known that. That was originally going to be used in my writing, but i chose not to use it. There are remnants of that in it, but only very little fragments. Eclipse is screwing himself over. I really honestly feel bad for him. The fact Sun was even able to silence him with his words speaks so many volumes about how Eclipse sees himself. Eclipse is my fav character because he has so much room for development but is to stubborn to try and change. He's dug himself to deep and knows he can't get out anymore and is giving up, but he wants people to think that he's still upholding to his evil plans (mainly Sun, Moon, and Monty) Eclipse is just lost and needs someone to be there for him. Also, I don't think he really wanted to kill Lunar. I feel as though he felt to connected to him after creating him and was scared of caring so he chose to hate him for it. I hope he gets a redemption arce so bad- (it's probably never going to happen though)

Not only did he hurt Monty. He used Monty as he had Sun, possessing him before he crippled him nearly to death so he wouldn't be able to fight back during Eclipse's first attempt at having the star. He also used the Blood twins as a vessel for a long time because he didn't wanna die getting ejected from Sun. And while he was hitchhiking in the Blood twins, he had manipulated and abused them to do his bidding again. Then after he was removed from them, that monster still played them, getting them all paranoid that they weren't doing enough for KC to care for them. And that paranoia had led to them getting killed! He planted that paranoia in them so that they'd get offed and he wouldn't have to worry about fighting against them too. He is planning to use a month old baby's magical abilities for his own gain. And I'm positive there'll be even more crimes he'll commit for his own reasons as the show goes on.

I think Eclipse doing this because of his previous lore. He wants attention and don’t want to be left alone, but he never knew how to actually do it. He never actually experienced brotherly love or anything kind of affection. Which was probably why when he hit Lunar when they taken control of Sun and Moon body, he was questioning himself on why did he care that he hit Lunar.

Yeah. He has abandonment issues, he wants attention, he doesn't want to be left alone, and the most important thing, he wants power. He did have feelings of affection though. He wants to be as loved as Sun, Moon, Earth, and Lunar are to each other, but Eclipse was never a good guy and never will be. The first thing that popped into his mind when he woke up was hatred toward Sun and Moon. If he was guided to the right direction in the begining, he could at least be similar to Solar(Nice Eclipse). But, he's already gone too far. He can't be redeemed now, and he never will be, since he's dead. No one will ever forget the hatred towards Eclipse at the beginning of October, or when he killed Lunar. Thank god we have Solar though! (GOD, this was long, sorry for the rant!)

Here is some theories I developed. 1. He started recording the confrontation after he didn't reply to Sun to make Sun look bad to the others. 2. Eventually since he has practically nothing he might try to restart to where it all began. He might try to go back into Sun's body, since that is when he bothered Sun and Moon the most, when he caused the most chaos. I think Eclipse enjoys being feared because that's his power. Fear has a great hold on people. The others see him as a saint since he altered their memories. His Lunar is dead by his actions. And Sun and Moon are no longer afraid of him. No one fears him anymore, he has no power over them. In a way he also is stuck. Yes he can probably make everyone fear him again, though I doubt he knows how to reverse the stars effects. However then he can not use them to get to Sun and Moon. Yes Gregory knows what is going on. However, Sun and Moon are his main targets. He hates Moon for leaving him in Sun and he hates Sun, probably viewing him as his replacement. All his actions were to target Sun and Moon. To take revenge on Moon and make Sun's life hell. When Eclipse won in another universe, he took Sun as his slave. The main difference between the two Suns, that universes and ours is that our Sun no longer fears our Eclipse. He waited too long and now he is stuck in a game of cat and mouse, where there are no mice to chase. None that fear him anyway. None that he wants to chase.

I have a feeling that Eclipse won't let Sun go away with that. He'll definitely punish Sun for this. But what will Eclipse do? We shall see.

Eclipse is desperate, he's going insane because he's stagnant I think; He worked so hard for this, sacrificed so many, changed how he thought and when he got it and made himself everyone's friend... I think he's seeing what could have been honestly? But no he wanted to badly to reset everything that he lost it and when it was found it could have made a fracture in him that the Star is amplifying, taking a hairline fracture and making it spiderweb until he'll just shatter- Think Azula from A;TLA, he's gotten his goal and now after so much pressure forcing him to keep together it's suddenly all gone, there's room for him to shatter and the sudden surge of power is too much for the glass

So it seems like a theory I made on Eclipse was true! And I wonder if another theory I have on the future of Eclipse could become true? Eclipse is slowly destroying himself with the star, however although it's basically been confirmed that Eclipse's physical being is being harmed by the star, it's still unclear whether or not the star is also degrading Eclipse's mental state which could be causing him to loose his mind. It was also mentioned that he seemed tired, also more then likely because of the star. Every time he uses it, his physical being degrades, however I believe that his mental state is also getting worse and worse. Eclipse seems more depressed, and although we didn't see him freaking out over "Being watched" he probably still feels like that and it's probably getting worse too, we just didn't see any of that in this episode. I have a theory on what could possibly happen to Eclipse in the future: (And what I kinda want to happen.) If the star really is degrading bits and pieces of Eclipse's brain/programming, whatever you wanna call it, then I wonder if in the future the part of Eclipse that feels sheer anger and hatred towards Sun and Moon might also start to go away. The one and only thing that seems to be driving Eclipse is his anger and hatred, so if the star degrades that then he has absolutely *nothing.* Now, what I think that this could cause is Eclipse becoming 10 times more depressed and insane, beginning to hate his life more then anything, even more then he previously hated Sun and Moon- In fact, maybe now with his anger and hatred towards Sun and Moon gone he can reflect on what he's done and realize that he went *WAY* over kill and basically ruined his and their lives. Now, at this point in the timeline I frankly believe that the star is gonna kill Eclipse soon, so if we fast forward in the future when I believe that this theory of mine could take place, Eclipse is almost already dead. I know that this next part is highly unlikely to happen, BUT, what if since Eclipse's hatred for Sun and Moon was basically degraded away and his insanity and depression has just increased, what if he actually used the last bit of his life to undo everybody's false memories of Sun and Moon and return their memories back to normal, AND- Now this is the really sad part... Since Eclipse did the most awful things to Sun, I can see Eclipse at this state using the last of his life to teleport to Sun and offer Sun the star, Eclipse would tell Sun how the star degraded him and his hatred for Sun and Moon and he'd offer to give Sun the star on ONE condition: That Sun kill him when Eclipse gives Sun the star, and Sun would agree.. Sun would take the star, and in disbelief ask Eclipse is he genuinely wanted Sun to kill him to which Eclipse would confirm that yes this is what he wants and that since he did Sun the most harm, he believes that Sun is the one that should kill him. Sun would grab one of the barrels that has a gun in it, fire it at Eclipse, and then bam. it's over, Eclipse is dead. Also, Sun mentioned Eclipse being bored and that possibly being why he went to talk to Funtime Foxy and Glamrock Chica, and this also fits into another theory that I had: Eclipse is lonely and has no idea what to do with his life anymore. Like, everyone who he was previously able to speak to is gone and he's all alone now and possibly going a bit insane from suddenly becoming aware of the fourth wall, he also admitted to not conversing with people a lot. I also noticed that although Eclipse did ask some questions relating to Sun and Moon, he more so just conversed about random things with Foxy and Chica for a bit- It may be unlikely that he was genuinely just enjoying conversing with people and that's the only reason why he decided to talk to the two of them, however it did seem like he didn't have much malicious intent. You could say that he's just trying to maintain his reputation as a good person among the animatronics, but Chica and Foxy have never met Eclipse before and hardly talk to Sun and Moon so why would Eclipse go to them? Why not Freddy? or Roxanne? Someone who actually has false memories of him being a good person. You see? It just doesn't make much sense to me unless Eclipse might have just seen Foxy and Chica hanging around and decided to simply go and talk to them. I know that Eclipse suddenly just wanting to have a good and honest conversation with someone after everything that has happened doesn't make much sense at first, but take into consideration how Eclipse previously was basically giving Sun and Moon a break from him torturing them and now it seems like he just doesn't know what to do. it's sad to be honest, it seems like Eclipse is either lonely or he's basically made his entire life centered around tormenting Sun and Moon and now that he currently isn't doing that as much, he seems to not know what to do and is therefore just going around doing random things that he believes could be even just slightly beneficial. There are multiple possible reasons for Eclipse going to talk to Chica and Foxy, however I think that these are the most plausible ones: He's lonely and just wanted to talk to someone. He has no idea what to do since he's basically made his life centered around just tormenting Sun and Moon, and since he's not doing that right now he doesn't know what to do. He's trying to distract himself from the fact that he's become aware of the fourth wall Sorry that this comment was so long but I wanted to cover all of my bases here. but anyways I hope you enjoyed my theory. 👍

After watching this episode, it make me have a very rare feeling that is like a 5% chance of happening. If Eclipse does end up almost dying because he doesnt care, what if one of the attendants help him? Honestly I feel bad for eclipse, he has nothing and nobody, he really does have no reason to live in a way- he doesn't care at this point. He probably wants death because that's all he believes he has left but he doesn't realise that he could fix everything.. sure lunar,sun and moon (and probably killcode) won't trust him at first but I'm sure Earth would welcome him with open arms and help him become a better person!! If he did that he'd have a reason to live and he'd have a family to care for him.. I don't know what Eclipse is planning to do but if he does know the star is killing him and he's doing nothing than it's probably cause he believes he has nothing left to loose or that he wants to die.. I honestly hope sun and moon help eclipse and let him join their family so that they can be happy together and stop the creator I believe KC would feel happiness knowing he still has one of his children

There's legitly a story on AO3 like this but based on the episode where Lunar and Eclipse called Monty. As cliché as it sounds, I think Eclipse just got lost in his sense of rejection from Moon, when he left him in Sun's head. He's stuck in a loop of pain and anger, and being proud, he wouldn't admit it. It's possible that Eclipse thinks that since he's come this far (killing Lunar, Moon lose memory, changing other people's memories), even if he wanted to, there's no way for him to go back or change, and so he continues, because that is his only hope. Because what purpose could he really have after all he's done? If he wanted to kill Sun, Moon, or destroy the entire world, he would have done it long ago... I honestly feel sorry for him...I really do. I hope that despite everything, he will manage to break down this wall of pride and donkey stubbornness in his heart.

The fact that Sun payed into him so much on the insults that it caused Eclipse to say nothing and just disappear really says a lot. Eclipse really has nothing better to do but just torture Sun and Moon for pure entertainment, meanwhile the star as they said is causing him pain due to how much he uses it, without a outlet he might just end up killing himself if he doesn’t wise up fast to aim for a better goal. Sun definitely deserved to just go off the handle on Eclipse, most of their interactions in the past Sun restrained himself from being rude or whatever. For instance like the time he thought he got rid of him for good with that magic spell, he was apologetic about getting rid of him when they couldn’t find another way. But now? Sun is real fed up. He’s tired and stressed to the max of all the things Eclipse has done thus far, probably felt good for Sun to just blow up for once. Moon meanwhile has no stress really on Eclipse thanks to his memories going ‘poof,’ while it was sad to know the fondest memories were gone, the worst ones at least won’t be missed for certainty. Wonder if Eclipse intends to go do something now though.. guess we’ll need to wait and see. Then there’s the whole Creator issue and Earth being used for their schemes, so much stressful chaos for the duo.

I'm glad that sun just let out his emotions, but he does have a point, maybe eclipse has everything he wants but he doesn't know what to do with it now...This is a big question to ask villains and bad people that'll really catch them off guard, "After everything you want to do and once you have everything you need, what is your next move?"
