These were so much better than what won, this contest was absolutely unfair. Good job

This is perfect. im actually blown away. today my cat died and i had been crying for hours and i just want you to know you made me forget all that pain for just a few min in these animations. Your animations should unironically be made into the offical videos for these songs (at least the 2 ive seen so far, this and brain damage). i also appreciate how both animations can flow into one another with that train scene much like how the actual songs seamlessly fade into one another. If you ever do this for the full album i will actually pay you for a copy of the video file synced to the music. Id love to see how you interpret an album like the wall though. Keep killing it man, your doing awesome work.

So the winning video was cute, but this is amazing! There is so much detail in the background animations. The transitions and the camera are excellent. The entire piece works so well with the music. I was simply blown away!

No offence to the winner, but this is so SO much better, this should have won by a landslide. I mean come on, the winner is just colored clay dancing around, there's no moon or space imagery. This is fantastic

im almost in tears, this is literally my exact vision for what this song would look like. even down to how the color pallet goes through the whole rainbow, thats such an oddly specific thing but its something that always appears in my head when listening to this album and especially this song. im truly blown away, what a damn shame this did not win.

This one is amazing. If I may give a small point of advice: be sure to link to your creation of 'Brain Damage' as well in your description, as people can easily overlook the tremendous work you did for that one. Same the other way around: I only got to this one after actively searching for it, feeling a bit bummed that Brain Damage ended like that and I hoped you did Eclipse as well. 😊

Sorry but I’m posting the same comment in both of these Pink Floyd videos… : These are FUCKING BRILLIANT not only in how they look and flow as a form of visual art but they really… I mean REALLY elicit emotions. I wish they were part of just one video so I can lose myself a little longer. I’m a 60 year old hippie/ punk hybrid… This hit on every level I’ve ever existed on. While that sounds complex… It’s utterly simple. As an empath… everything comes down to feelings and emotions. Thank you for making and posting these. I hope they last on here without legal bullshit. You took art and you made art with it. ✌🏽❤️🍄🌬️🍃🎸

Excellent work on this one too. And I love how you tied your animations into one cohesive story. It would have been cool to see what you came up with on the rest of the tracks, but I do understand that the sheer amount of work needed for making them at this level is of course rather prohibitive, especially on the time scale of the competition.

This is great. It's just a bit jarring to see a lunar eclipse here though, instead of a solar eclipse as described in the song
@LaurenEdmondsart Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! That was a tricky decision I had to make, I dabbled with the idea of making it a solar eclipse but ended up keeping it as a lunar eclipse to be consistent with my imagery. I felt like the lunar eclipse works better for communicating the whole concept of 'dark side of the moon' where I have used it in the other animations.
@stopbunsen Жыл бұрын
@@LaurenEdmondsart For sure. I figured you might have had some reasoning behind it. It can be difficult making creative decisions with this sort of thing.

Nice animation, but you have it backwards. You’re showing a lunar eclipse, not a solar eclipse like the song says.

I disagree with Mr. Einstein's quote, suggesting that imagination is preferred over knowledge. One is as important, or as significant as the other. All the imagination in the world is but pipe dream, without the wherewithal to bring imagining to reality. One may imagine, for example, a cup. Thinking about a cup all the live long day will not produce that imagined cup. But with knowledge AND imagination (materials for this imagined project- cup making-also a plus!)...
@LaurenEdmondsart9 ай бұрын
I interpreted the quote as that being his point. If you just have knowlege, then you just know what is already 'known'. You need imagination to imagine that there is more to know and to come up with ideas of how things might work to test hypotheses, and to imagine that things can be better to make change for the better.
