Eclipse: Rise of the Ancients Timelapse

First play through of RotA on Dec. 12th, 2013
(sorry for the funky colour changes, it was a long game and the camera kept adjusting for daylight changes)

6 Player Game
Player Colour - Race
Red - Planta
Yellow - Draco
Green - Hydran
Blue - Rho
White - Orion (player card screen right, not on table)
Magenta - Magellan
Unfortunately we were unable to finish the game, we only played 8 rounds. Hydran, Draco and Rho joined the Vortex alliance in approx. round 4. Planta and Magellan joined the Nova alliance in round 6.
Final score was:
Planta (21) & Magellan (30) = 25
Hydran (11), Draco (21) & Rho (32) = 21
Orion = 17

@@hoonter08 apologies, it was just a random nonsensical comment as there we're no other comments in this video. I'd just recently purchased Eclipse second dawn & I wanted to learn Planta strategies.

Haha wondered if it was a 1st comment situation. My thoughts, Planta has the double explore benefit, so early on you should reveal lots of tiles and create a good ‘base’ for yourself. Don’t hesitate to throw away tiles in order to choose the best ones. Go for high production tiles and align your worm holes to minimize entrances into your base!
