Get a big garage in a rural place and get to work. This shit smells terrible, make sure you don't have any neighbors. Once or twice a year go around town and gather as much plastic as possible. Which is not really easy in a society which is not economically well off. Until then we have to decrease the amount of plastic on land and sea. There is too much of plastic already that are killing animals and indirectly will affect us. Also, using less plastics is mostly a choice that must be made by corporations, brands, etc. For that, we need to demand plastic free packaging and recyclable plastic.

I noticed few people asking about equipment . Batch pyrolysis equipment is the most simplest one . You need Mild Steel or Stainless steel material of construction. Few weldings , few valves, if you dont have nitrogen or CO2 then use vacuum pump. Reactor, Condenser ( Heat Exchanger), Ball valves, few pipes, Receiving tank, Fire extinguisher and heat source can be gas fired or electricity fired or even you can use induction bands. Total cost if you do everything then you will end up spending something around Rs25000-50000 or £1000 or $500. Most of the items you can get from a metal scrap yard. Also please dont melt PVC , as it will emit dioxin which is cancerous as it has got chlorine which can react with oxygen .

Much respect from Pakistan I feel you are the masters of recycling. I have watched this video and now I plan on highlighting how you can turn plastic into fuel to my father. I am so excited about this, right now I am intreasted in setting up something similar to this in Rawalpindi. Finally I have only one thing to say to indian investers please look at recycling as a serious investment....the future of all our children depend on it.

Most impressed with the achievement of Team Rudra. At 40 rupees a litre and high calorific value and low Sulphur content this sounds very promising.

I am curious about how much energy goes into the system..

Was wondering the same thing. If they get good funding, they may actually use solar or wind to power the process.
@robjworkshop56925 жыл бұрын
Not much, just a few litres of gas to start the process, then the gas produced by the reaction is fed back into the system, so no toxic gas is released into the atmosphere.
