Get a big garage in a rural place and get to work. This shit smells terrible, make sure you don't have any neighbors. Once or twice a year go around town and gather as much plastic as possible. That's how you can invest in it, yourself, human race, and the planet. Post up videos of the entire process, and fine tuning for refining the fuels. Or, send me the money, and I'll make this investment and process myself for the good of mankind

To accomplish this, we have alternative eco-friendly products to plastics and initially targeting the hotel industry. Really appreciative job from your side towards nature. If all the others practice the same in their shops, it would be a great move. Don't wait for someone to change.. I noticed few people asking about equipment . Batch pyrolysis equipment is the most simplest one . You need Mild Steel or Stainless steel material of construction. Few weldings , few valves, if you dont have nitrogen or CO2 then use vacuum pump. Reactor, Condenser ( Heat Exchanger), Ball valves, few pipes, Receiving tank, Fire extinguisher and heat source can be gas fired or electricity fired or even you can use induction bands. Total cost if you do everything then you will end up spending something around Rs25000-50000 or £1000 or $500. Most of the items you can get from a metal scrap yard. Also please dont melt PVC , as it will emit dioxin which is cancerous as it has got chlorine which can react with oxygen .

I'm not entirely convinced. This sounds too good to be true. If it was indeed so easy to depolymerize the plastic, researchers and companies around the world would've found out about this long time ago and it would've already been done in a large scale. There is definitely a catch to this and they're not telling us what it is.

4% crude oil is used each year to make plastic. So the question of whether plastic waste can solve our energy problem is no! It is certainly a good development. The population should behave more consciously. That the streets and streams are filled with plastic waste is a shame and can be solved with a simple reward or deposit. Everyone recovers!...

Much respect from Pakistan I feel you are the masters of recycling. I have watched this video and now I plan on highlighting how you can turn plastic into fuel to my father. I am so excited about this, right now I am intreasted in setting up something similar to this in Rawalpindi. Finally I have only one thing to say to indian investers please look at recycling as a serious investment....the future of all our children depend on it.

I have an issue, plastic raw material is made from fossil fuel. Key doesnt lie here, key lies in us using less plastics.
@dingdong1519
@dingdong1519 4 жыл бұрын
Which is not really easy in a society which is not economically well off. Until then we have to decrease the amount of plastic on land and sea. There is too much of plastic already that are killing animals and indirectly will affect us. Also, using less plastics is mostly a choice that must be made by corporations, brands, etc. For that, we need to demand plastic free packaging and recyclable plastic.
@dragonshivu
@dragonshivu 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, key lies in using less plastic, but until then we need to clean up the plastic waste that has been already created and that’ll be created in the near future, and this is one of the solutions.

Great job team Rudra! Please bring this technology to all the big cities in India and eventually to the rest of the country too! We need people like you. We cannot wait for the government to act on this, they are lazy af and neither will any oil corporation assist with this solution to help the world. All they care about is money. Set up local funding, submit your ideas on international forums, win competition money, gain international funding and get this going on a larger scale! Best of luck to you!
