A grand salute to Mr. Nandkumar Pawar and his fellow Koli brothers/sisters, thanks a lot to Scroll for surfacing such critical piece of info before common Indians like me. Having spent most of my lifetime in Mumbai and seen how ever growing number of migrants (from within state of MH and all over India) has completely turned Mumbai into chaotic piece of trash, I genuinely believe that Mumbai needs Thanos to wipe out half of its population ASAP. The illegal land encroachment done by huge number of migrants that keeps dumping into the city every single day from all over India must be stopped immediately. I dont understand why in country of over 1.3 billion we got just few handful of cities like Mumbai/Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/Pune where people from all over India migrate to for jobs/businesses ? looking as size and population of India we need at least 50 such cities spread across the whole length and breadth of the country so that few cities wont chock up to death due to migration like what is happening in cities like Mumbai/Bangalore. Both these cities are heading to point of no return when it comes to self destruction due to ever growing number of migrants and rapid growth of industries concentrated at one place. Take some serious measures to control population and better spread development across the country than keeping it limited to few cities which are already screwed up big time.

The lush green mangroves shown in this video was the initiative of S.P Godrej. He had protected the mangrove forest in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai and gifted lot of land of Godrej company near vikhroli for the conservation of Mangrove. He had said Mangroves protect Mumbai so we must protect them. You can see the difference of mangroves between eastern suburbs of Mumbai and rest of Mumbai. The most difficult part is local politicians and builder mafias are cutting the mangroves for land grabbing. We saw that happened a lot in Airoli and other parts of Navi Mumbai. Mangroves were destroyed and local politicians claimed the land as their property and started building fences so that no one can enter them and in course of time managed to get some fraud superficial paper work to claim the land and in future get the land legally by political pressure and money bribing. Good to know local fishermen community working for this cause. International awareness is must and also protection of endangered migratory pink flamingos that come and breed in these mangroves. It looks very beautiful when the birds come.

Govt should make releasing treated water outside buildings, so that water doesnt get polluted. Many high rise buildings in chicago utilise water but they release back treated water back, not polluted water. All buildings should mandatorily have Treatment plants and Government should also keep a check on reducing effluents and plastic usage and increase treatment plants and make city Around look good. First make dignity homes for people living in those shacks inside city. After alloting those homes, take back that shacks filled land and auction it to property developers and make city filled planned infrastructure to lead a Ecofriendly life.
