An Indian entrepreneur produces a carbon-negative brick that could help clear Delhi’s toxic air. The innovative building material is made from paddy stubble. Farmers burn this crop residue to clear their fields, contributing to stifling smog.

How much durable these bricks are? Will they decompose over time?

I got a place they send wastewater sludge to mix with cement and use it to decrease pure cement per brick.

That's wrong the bricks should not use so much cement for the masonry but the holes should be filled with screened rock and cement mix reinforced with metal saria.

The lady constructing home "as it is so peaceful and greenery exists there" if everybody strts thinking like that there will be no greenary in 5-10years over there 🙄 So pls avoid construction of homes on Mountains and other greener areas .

But the problem is not the bricks but the energy they are using (heat). alternative sources of energy should be used rather than finding different ways to produce bricks

do you know how much carbon he is sequestering by converting them into bricks 1 prevent stubble burning 2 .giving sustainable building material 3. giving farmers income . so the pros ought weigh the cons
