ECO mode switch installation in Renault Clio 4 Grandtour Tce 90

All Clio 4s have the ECO mode prepared by default in the factory, but my Clio came without an Eco button. So I ordered the original switch and inserted it.

I bought one as well, last year. Directly from the Renault Dealer (about 50 USD in Europe). When you find a local junkyard it'll be probably between $10-20. It definitely works on throttle. I'm driving about 1050km (652 miles) on one tank (~45 liters) when not driving above 120km/h (74mph).

Engin Özkan it will kill you when speed is needed. Just don’t use it.

@@kheymoderne1666 Hey it's not that bad. Must be turned off for highway speed that's for sure but in city traffic jam I sometimes I turn it on. Never measured the eco-effect on my fuel spending, though. Main reason I installed the button was the future resale of the car in my mind, looks good to have it among the other extras.

sixaxis You can just floor the throttle until you feel a „click“ under the gas pedal and eco mode will be automatically turned off

It is a bit useless to be honest.... Just throttle respons... Not much just practical in slow traffic you can press more the throttle less precision required

yep. I think that's how it works
