I echo the sentiment on bogs. Just a long quiet video of the bog itself would be lovely. I stopped to watch this at a particularly stressful time during my day. Just seeing these familiar, beloved plants soothed and helped to lower my stress level. Don't forget the beautiful sphagnum! Thank you!!

Cotton grass! How beautiful it is. I would love to see a longer video on bogs. These are some of my favorite plants. Last year I filled a small hole with peat and put in some pitcher plants, I drip irrigated from a rain barrel, the plants actually grew but I don't think they made it through the winter. I'll try again. I was surprised that the pitcher plants in the video seemed to be in full sun, mine were in shade.

What kind of pollinators are present in that environment?

Quite a few pollinators use flowering bog plants. Labrador Tea, Bog Rosemary, Mountain Holly, Black Huckleberry, Cranberry, Lowbush Blueberry, Winterberry, Sheep Laurel, Pink Azalea, and Bog Willowherb are all visited by bees. Some are favored by bumble bees and/or Andrena bees, some attract honey bees, some entice flower flies and/or butterflies. Even the Pitcher Plant is visited by bumble bees, as well as the Pitcher Plant Fly (they might not make it out though!). Cottongrass is wind pollinated.
