I have Jack in the Pulpit in bed near front deck just planted itself there, a friend came over and was taken back how big and beautiful it was never saw one before. It is female and last year had magnificent flower. Also have a whole colony in back of property at different stages, always wanted to learn more about this plant.

Jack in the Pulpit is best food for Himalayan Sherpa. its called in Nepali (Banko बाँको) and Sherpa language Towa तोव. this is ancient food of Himalayan people. this food is make like a noodle and very good for health. specially gastric cure and food for climbing mountaineering. People doesn't know its special benefit. I have collected its seed and I started its farming. I will tell you how to prepare it and eat? in sherpa language its called Towa. we have four kinds of towa eating since long time, these foure differents Jack in the Pulpit (towa) 1) Towa khumdok, 2) Towa karmo 3) towa sertok. 4) towa Nima lekshe. People use it for clean and wheat skin, clean stomach and for long time no hungry also no affect of high altitude. well lets save this plant , lets promote it for mountaineering climbers food in future.
