If made from recycled cardboard, I think it's AWESOME. Lightweight, likely inexpensive, adaptable for use, so you can save space. And of course, (if from recycled materials) green. Plus, it's a snappy vid/ad.

@Nico: The backrest looks to be a solid lump of cardboard. I guess it wouldn't work as a backrest unless it had a mechanism to lock the expansion at a set position. The bed part stays put by friction, which makes sense because the vertical forces are much greater than the horizontal forces, but for the backrest, the horizontal force would be greater and would overcome the friction which would also be weaker due to less vertical force. So some form of locking would be needed if it was to expand.
