This happened because egr cooler is Italian(dolorto) they making carburetors also, they should keep making them only. Have one years ago on my tomos apn6 moped.

Crank sensor/tone wheel. Usually replaced hand in hand because both hard to get to but if you get to one you got both in the same spot (have to remove transmission) or a possible pcm update that has to be done at dealer sadly. Hope this helps some

i am at the same spot right now too. 2015 ecodiesel with just less 100k miles. p200a and b codes, egr diffuser tube and intake/swirl valves gummed right up, leaking coolant( just barely thought). all my options suck...dealer is going to soak me.intake manifold/oil cooler etc...and even after all that the problem is still not solved,its only a bandaid. there is no way i'd ever attempt what your doing. nice to see what is involved tks for the video. if you have any words of advice i'd like to hear em.

It sounds like to me either way its going to be expensive, i chose to delete because of that reason, it ended up being the same price. Deleting is a permeant fix, i would question the oil cooler, that is unrelated to the ego cooler problem, i would remove the egg diffuser and look for signs of coolant, this is a very easy process or take it to someone you trust to confirm your cooer is leaking. If it is not then all you should need is your intake removed and cleaned, (still expensive)good luck. Welcome to call me with questions 3085500576

Had the same problem at 130K miles. Definitely go full delete. Cost me 3K to have a shop do it, permanent fix

You said egr cooler was only few bolts. Would i have to drain coolant as well then to pull it??? I think my valve is sticking causing power loss occasionally and p0401 code. Also what egr delete kit did u buy?? Thanks man

Sorry i don't remember what brand, but it came from eBay.Yes you will need to drain some coolant.

For Gawd sake… someone tell me where to get the parts to delete my EGR garbage of my (2022 Jeep Gladiator with the 3.0L ecodiesel) the fact that my engine is LITERALLY been sandblasted in the inside and the oil getting all kind of bearing destroying gunk… is driving me insane
