They play within acceptable parameters. So if you hurt the engine somehow I would probably take the system out before bringing it in.

Is it worth going with 40's or sticking with max 37's virtually the same capability and easier on the components

In my opinion I was much happier wheeling with the 40’s over when I had 37’s. Got stuck a ton more. Remember the break over angle is the biggest issues with these long trucks.

I get that but once you cross the Rubicon if you will which is bigger than 37's your talking Dana 60's minimum possibly an 80 in the rear with the gearing and all Dynatrac Pro-Rocks will set you back around 20k on top of the 60k for your Gladiator which puts you at 80k, which is a lot of scratch unless you hard wheel a ton and plan to keep it a long time to amortize your costs. At least using it for business you get to deduct it so Uncle Sam subsidizes the hobby.

@@stanleyfurash7929 as long as I didn’t tweak anything yet. Which once my barn is done and the hoist is up I’m going to down run out. If everything is still nice and straight I’ll be trussing everything to see how much abuse these new gen 44’s will take. I totally agree most of the time we need to upgrade axles. I’m very surprised how much I’ve already put the axles through with no issues. And yes I’m able to use mine for business, so that definitely helps!

Get to write off my quad to since I plow clients driveways before they move in during the winter. Lotta agents don’t think about this kind of stuff! The wrap on my truck has got me for real estate listings! So it 100% is a write off.

4.88 gears are too low for 40s on the diesel. Grt 4.3 or 4.56

I plan to go 42’s and 1 tons next. So I’ll be going more than 4.56.
