We've used the disel heater with the EcoFlow River pro. It consumed about 40% battery if the heater is left on all night. Also the River pro cannot handle so much amps at a time if you plug in via 12 volt. Youll need to get a AC DC converter to handle the amps due to high amount of energy during the diesel heater startup.
@MikeTrachtenberg Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. Since making this video, I now have the Anker Solix C1000 and made a video about that and a video about the diesel heater and the Anker was able to successfully handle the heater all on DC power! Have not tested with the EcoFlow since I got the Anker before needing it!

Just switched to a Ecoflow after another make of solar Generator let me down. The fact that Ecoflow offer a 5 year guarantee & the battery expectancy is around 10 years was a major factor in my purchase.

I have most of these and use the eco the most, but totally agree it is silly the top isn’t flat. today I was using to work new portable WiFi projector, it would have been perfect if I could perch it on the top. 1) Fast charger can charge phone in 15 minutes and uses only 1-2 percent max 2) able to charge it using the solar on my rv in an hour and it doesn’t pull to much away from rv battery like others 3) perfect weight and size to keep in car, on outdoor table in back yard, bring into your tent no matter size of tent, 4) I was able to fully charge it while it ran a 40 inch tv and charged phone

Can i run a fan on ef river 288w
@MikeTrachtenberg Жыл бұрын
I belong out just depends on how many watts the fan will pull. I.e. if the river can handle 600w and the fan pulls less than 600w, then you would be good. See if the fan has a label that will tell you how many watts it uses

Oh gosh I can't remember. We haven't used our trailer off-grid since last year. I remember though we were able to watch full 2 hour movies and it wasn't even close to empty. It gave us full power for that and charging all devices for a weekend without any worries about not having enough power.

I bought a River Pro directly from EcoFlow. I tried to upgrade the firmware, it froze at 33% and bricked the unit. I had to ship it back to EcoFlow. They promised a replacement as soon as my unit was received, but it took a week to ship it out to me. The replacement unit has some internally damaged component that rattles around when it's tilted, so, not acceptable. I'm highly dissatisfied. I'll be returning everything for a refund and checking out other brands.

@chupo4putinАй бұрын
@MikeTrachtenberg i dont think. i have both. the problems with software and bms. the amount of time i have to reset bms. the srupidity of support contacts not engineers. the product itself feels a bit more fragile plastic. it only feels thats way. thats the overall feeling i have about ecoflow. not bad but bluetti software is stable and communicating with hardware like charm. so........... GRADE LOWER the edited part.... in a year and a half i never once reset anything on bluetti.

RIVER Pro / EF4 PRO is not safe. The insulation between the primary and secondary circuits of the product does not meet the requirements for reinforced insulation in the product standard. In the testing, flaws have been found both in voltage dielectric strength test test and in the surface and air gaps. In addition, the output grounding is not connected to the protective grounding.
