in fact the wind was very light and to access the hut, it was easier on that side.

11:48 what happened to him? Wing doesn't seem to be stalled, yet he descends way too fast.

a mix of different reasons. Not enough ressource on landing, a bit of down wind, but mainly an optical impression (the slope is steep and he lands straight in the slope.
