How to change the heat control valve on your BMW E60, E63, E64, E65, and remove air from coolant

Hello , i have a problem with my e60, the climate controll only blows air through the vents in the middle of the car, on the middle of the dashboard, and in the back of center consoll towards the backseats) not on the sides on the dash or in front of the dash. Do you know what can be the problem?

Great video will changing the heat control valve also help with A/C ?? Asking cause passenger side of my bmw f15 blows cold air but driver side hot air . Will changing this part fix the problem ?

worth a shot, as you can see each solenoid controls each side, u might have one side stuck open all the time.

Same problem. But in driver side cold in passenger warm. But some times is working in both sides. Any ideas?

Came here to ask the same question. I just got my AC serviced on my e65 and I have hot air on the driver side and cold on passenger side

Came back to reply that I just replaced my HCV exactly as video described, very easy. And yes, this also fixed my hot air driver side/cold air passenger side problem. Thank you!
