She was also competitively selected for the International Women’s Media Foundation “Great Lakes” Reporting fellowship to Uganda, where she reported on environmental, economic and LGBT issues. “Make Me Smart” is “a podcast to keep up with, even in quarantine,” Vanity Fair says.

Have to disagree on SW and the likely change somehow being a reflection of a class system. Arguably, just being in a position to travel by air already is the real distinction of your economic means. From there your ticket really just speaks to how much you are willing to spend for a certain comfort. You could be Warren Buffet and choose not to drop bags on that ticket for a 2hr flight or you could be a couple on their honeymoon splurging multiple bags on those tickets to Hawaii. Or you have a strong points and loyalty program game. The accessibility is there and people have agency, not getting into a particular social club because you’re the wrong gender or religion, that seems like an actual class problem. Anyway, I never fly SW if I don’t have to because not knowing my seat is just an extra annoyance and even anxiety inducing. This change would likely have me include them in search results in the future.
