I adore these lights. I started with two G5 XR15 2 Blue's. I wound up recently selling one blue and I will be getting two Pro's to pair with my remaining Blue. They functioned perfectly well and actually exceeded my expectations and grew the coral under it quite well. However, selling one was solely an aesthetic choice. It was too blue for me aesthetically. I just think I will be happier with more of the natural white lighting scheme, but will be keeping one blue for the extra coverage and that blue pop and fluorescence. I can't speak highly enough of this fixture, but deciding which version can be a challenge as both will grow Coral, but the hobbyist may or may not know which spectral emphasis they prefer to look at every day. I also have the 4 foot rail system from Ecotech, it was the easiest light bar I have ever worked with. I fit my tank perfectly, feels sturdy, and looks good. I love their lighting products.

Thanks for all your WB7225 videos, I used them to sell the dream to my wife who was very skeptical about having a big tank in our living room. After showing her your tank she was sold. I’m only running 3 XR15 blues, running them at 100% and I have great coverage thought it my whole tank.

Maximum power output with the blues since you aren’t massively turning down any channels and losing wattage and PAR Always love your light mount btw, so clean

I had a lot of exciting news this year, a new job, found out my wife and I are expecting but with our first baby comes too much money not on my tank. We planned on getting me the new XR 15 but now that we’re having a child we put all coral and tank equipment on hold. I’ve always wanted to have a baby so I’m happy beyond belief but I did want to try my hand at a Radion. I would love to be able to get a new light :)

I’m setting up a Waterbox 20 cube and I’m hoping to start slow and stable. I’ve been studying all the different lights and watching all related videos. At the end of the day, the clear choice for what I want to achieve is the XR15 G5. I plan on running a mixed tank with sps corals up top, with a few montis, chalices, torches and lps corals in the mid to low sections of the tank. I have it all planned out in my head and was saving up for these specific lights! It would be incredible to actually win one!

Very nice tank you have one reason I'm not a big fan of LEDs is the cost Radeon is really proud of their leds charging $420 for one fixture plus about 80 bucks for mount when it's all said and done five of those lights with the mounts you're talkin about 2500 bucks 4 less than half of that price you could run a T5 fixture with 10 bulbs and you get probably more par then what your lights are putting out just look at Jerry's a hundred 150 gallon reef tank that you reviewed about a year ago that tank looks stunning I'm sure Jerry has better things to do with his money then spend thousands of dollars on LED lights don't get me wrong they work but T5s also work and sometimes even better just my opinion to each its own

T5 works well, tried and true. but you also have a life time of bulb replacements and a lot of gear handing over the tank.. which for a frag tank sure but in my living room i like it sleek and minimal. They all grow corals some just look better doing it :P

@@ReefDudes that may be true but once your LEDs to go bad what are you going to do replace them all Nobody Knows the lifespan of LEDs and fans go bad my friend had one and the fan was making all kind of noise so it's not just the lights you got to think about the moving Parts like the fan that go bad sometimes but then again to each its own and 25 bucks for a bulb is not that much money if you replace that every 14 months again you have a very nice tank yeah the lights do look pretty cool I will say that
