Fighting imperialism in Africa doesn't mean Africa will be isolated from the rest of the world. Countries will still have friendly and diplomatic relations with other countries. What will change is a complete breakaway from the exploitative relationships from imperialists and former colonialists. African countries will then have to determine their friends and allies based on mutual respect and benefits and will do so without pressure or intimidation from somewhere ( especially from the west) as it's been witnessed in the current dispensation.
