ECSC Inclusion Conference - Vivi Germanos Koutsounadis, Executive Director, ECSC

"Inclusion is key to education. As adults and educators it is our duty of care to make sure that ALL children have the right and freedom to play and to learn."
Vivi is the Executive Director of ECSC. She has a BA with a major in Psychology and a post graduate Diploma in Psychology. In 1983, she received the Order of Australia Medal and in 1998 was awarded the Human Rights Medal and the UNSW Alumni Award in 2003. She is the founding member of the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW, the Ethnic Child Care Family & Community Services Co-Operative, has served as the President of Greek Orthodox Community of NSW, National Immigrant Refugee Women's Alliance (NIWRA) and Addison Road Community Centre (both for which she was also currently President).
Vivi participates in various advisory, reference groups and Forums in child care, disability and aged care , (in the government and community sectors) advocating and providing input on the needs of CALD children, families and communities. In 2012 Vivi was appointed People of Australia Ambassador by the Multicultural Council of Australia.
