In one of the research they us 68% vo2max- in my case (45yers old) is 117bpm, it is extremally low, I hitting 134bpm walking in tempo 130 steps per minute, to stay in such a low heart rate I have to really stroll- and perhaps obese people would have to walk even slower- it is really no real life application- moderate exercise should be consider as a faster walk or jog - which would bring heart rate to 120-135bpm for most people - nobody is exercising lightly (at Least not amateurs) with 67% vo2max ald barely walk for 30 minutes

The reality is - virtually nobody lost weight just doing hit session - while plenty lost using moderate - and simply laboratory settings are too far from reality of life- especially for big cohort of society who are not young students.
