ECU Reflash or Remap? | KTM 390 Duke

Here is what I have learnt about ECU reflash, remap and tuning. Something that I struggle to understand earlier on when started out riding. Hope this video is informative and helps you.

Here in Colombia I know a couple of guys that did the same thing and the improvement in the motorcycle was huge, also the 390 will consume a little bit of more gas :)

Yes, I can actually tell that it is much smoother in the lower RPM now. I have been riding it for about a week plus, simple reflash but a huge difference.

what is the difference between stock ecu and powertronic? if its got more power, does it stressed the engine? is it powertronic recommend by OBS? how much cost for the ecu reflash? thanks. already subscribe

It's possible to tune the ecu as long as the tunner able to unlock the VIN

I did the same on stock bike and it's a day night difference even on the stock bike... If you're bike 2-3 year old then must try it everyone 🙏

hello sir. is reflash needed if you removed the stock exhaust and changed it to a mid pipe and a sc project canister? not a full system exhaust

Not compulsory, but a reflash helps smoothen out the bike even with stock exhaust

Thanks bro for the info! I got really confused too before this. I’m using rc390 and just changed the link pipe and also muffler. Not sure to do reflash, install piggyback or change powertronic ecu hahaha. Got any suggestion?
