Ecuador Intag Sisal

In the cloud forest of the Intag Valley a group of nearly 40 women crochet, knit and weave, sisal that they have processed and dyed with the jungle's multitude of natural dyes. Their efforts are providing their families with much needed income as an alternative to mining, preventing multinational corporations who want to mine the valley for copper. These products are 100% natural and sustainable.
