Yes, maxima was on my list for awhile but couldn’t get it since we lived in apartment... the root system wasn’t that great but hope to see more roots coming from the newest suedbulb.

I LOVE getting boxes from ecuagenera..so much a blind order not knowing what you will get..i don't think when they come to the orchid festival in September, they have more preorders and some of the plants look a bit haggard..nice to see how your plants look..thanks for sharing. I just got a phymatachila that is mounted..wow nice spike too..never heard them as Miltonia..mine is Oncidium or even Odontoglossum..very nice maxima..should be pretty. Thanks for sharing Yoshi

I understand the shipping issue and all but I rather asked them how they would do to make them come back... and Miltonia.... I have to agree, it is very odd looking one. I would rather believed it if it was listed as psychosis lol

@@orchidsbythelake i had hoped because of your mild climate you'd be successful with them but i admit to gasping! when you said Masdevallias..all the leaves wouldve already dropped had those came to me hehe. the Miltonia is a great plant..i've smelled the flowers once and they are so very nice. Hopefully you'll see blooms soon and i will at some point

"Gastrochilus... old name" is it not still Gastrochilus retrocallus? "Echinosepara shuarii" Echinosepala... those L's and R's get you every time 😉 "Miltonia phymatochila" I think you must have been tired, that's an Oncidium.

Yes, haraella as far as I know used to be Gastrochilus. I think they just kept that name. It is listed as synonyms. And yes, L and R,,,,, s and th.... b and v..... You can imagine I was slightly opposed to name our kids.... Violet and Seven... and Tallen my third one... 😣 they all have those. And yes, the Miltonia.... I looked up on google for the image because I was thinking a different look as “Miltonia”... but I guess the ID is correct. I thought this was a Psychopsis of some sort...

Well, I looked up a bit more about the Miltonia... I guess this one was classified as Miltonia before... now it is Oncidium phymatochilum....🧐 the species website lists Miltonia phymatochila as synonym. Aaaannmd yes, this day I was filming, I think I said it at the beginning, I was tired. Worked 8+ hours at my infamous delivery job and worked about 5 hours at a sushi restaurant.....
