Just a simple correction Sir ***** Angle of displacement or amplitude affects the period of the pendulum. If the angle is larger , the Bob swings faster and period is reduced , if the angle is small, period goes up since the Bob swings slowly.

Amplitude does not period coz period is equal to time over number of swings. Yes if you look at the swing by it's self, the larger the displacement the longer the angular distance or arc created by the bob. But in the calculation to find period you have to divide time taken by number of swings so it always comes to a constant coz in the first place the swinging is caused by the pull of gravity. Try it with a stop watch on your phone, string n stone
