I relate so much to this video, I ended up watching it twice. There’s so much I want to do and become, but because of bad skin, I barely talk to people. Huge introvert. Low self esteem I can’t look people in the eye bc I feel like my eczema issues would put people off. I use humor as a defense mechanism. It’s tough living with this shit but these videos really help

CB Reg all the people that matter look past it or are concerned about you is the great thing! Thanks so much for watching! I think being introverted and sensitive can be a good thing,!

LOVE YA CB Reg! My daughter going to through the same thing. She had real bad eczema. Her boyfriends has 3 cats and she's highly allergic to them cats. She suffering most of her life and she's now 26 years old. I am her mom and am tripled stress out as well. She's on Pupixent and doing 75% better. Now sh needs to see allergy doctor for Densitisize (?) but she's scare to have this procedure because she says her allergy doctor will put multiple allergens into her system to help your body immune to them. I stressed out about her eczema all the time. It is very sad. Thank you for listening to me :(

I'm sure it wasn't easy to share... I know I couldn't. I've suffered my whole life, I'm 33. It affects every part of your life. People don't realize what we avoid... Pools, sun, sports, shorts, animals, etc. Real confidence killer. Finally got dupixent but nervous to take it now due to potential side effects and just taking any drug

I currently am not on dupixent anymore, how unlucky can I be right. Out of the small percentage of people who have eczema also in the small percentage with dupixent side effects. . . eh nothing you can do. Being forced to avoid animals, food, and a lot of stuff sucks. It really hurts your connection with people. But being in Japan where more kids have it some of my favorite students are kids with Atopic Dermatitis. Looking at it from the third person I don't think as many people care as we think, but I feel like it does make dating and being intimate especially hard. I hope all works out for you my guy! It was an amazing six months while it lasted for me

Your video felt honest and know your not alone..many of us suffer with excema. We don't have to. I have learned diet and environment are everything. It takes time and some sacrifice... but once I figured out my triggers, listened to my body... things got better. Look up Auto immune protocol diets. Put my on a path I needed.

Thanks I'll look into it! I've found that a lot of my skin problems come form the medications I was taking and actually stopping topical steroids has been the thing that was most helpful!

Marco! It’s good to see this man I’m on my second week and look for honest feedback. My skin is soo bad I can scratch my skin off when it’s flairing, I heard swimming in a pool helps!

Just dropped by. You’re super cheerful. Did you use duplixit? How did it turn out?
@LaidbackMarco6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I'm actually a pretty cynical person but I love making videos so I was happy to record this for you. I used dupixent and it turned out badly for me as I had an allergic reaction as well as conjuntivitis after using it for a couple months. I was extremely disappointed, but now I'm back on protopic and trying to take better care of my body via drinking water, washing sheets more often, and cold showers along with moisturizer and protopic

My son has eczema too. I as a parent don’t understand how it feels physically but I understand the frustrations. Have you checked out dr Aaron?
@LaidbackMarco4 жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with doctor Aaron. . . one thing I've found that helps is drinking lots of water. . . although I've been slipping on that lately

Best of luck. I'm sure there are new Eczema meds coming out soon. My skin is starting to heal after about a week. No Major side-effects yet, fingers crossed.

I'm doing pretty well using protopic and lotion right now, but I'm on clobetasol which concerns me due to the strong nature of steroids :(

@@LaidbackMarco ohk- right. Try researching Ayurvedic diet. Your gut needs to heal- eat non inflammatory foods- not all veggies are good for eczema suffers- no soy no preservatives no dairy,meat and no gluten no night shade vegetables- the cause havoc in you intestines. When you heal your gut you can re-introduce slowly to see what the triggers are for your eczema.

you could try Tralokinumab , it targets only IL-13 while Dupixent targets both IL-13 and IL-4. Trlknm is supposed to work slower than Dupixent but causes no conjunctivitis.

Are you still on it?
@LaidbackMarco5 жыл бұрын
No i'm not on it anymore, the side effects were more annoying than my bad eczema, I still have eyelid problems to this day that I'd never had before being on dupuixent
