Ed Cycles Cross Seminole Trail

S2E1. The 28 mile long Cross Seminole Trail touches Volusia County at the north and Orange County at the south. My ride goes from north to south, and adds 1/2 mile to the north end to allow a start at the Lake Monroe Park trailhead. This video shows all of the multiple trailheads as well as major road crossings and where to turn so you don't lose your way. Also shows many points of interest, such as the connector trail across Interstate 4, Big Tree Park and Soldiers Creek Park. What's up with the route through the city of Oviedo? Thanks Ed for taking the time to put together yet another fantastic, very informative video! My husband and I always learn something new about these trails every time you post. And thank you for solving a mystery for us. We were riding the Seminole Wekiva trail today and noticed a path with a bridge that went over I-4. We had no idea that it connected to the Cross Seminole Trail. So thanks for clearing that up! We very much look forward to seeing your upcoming biking adventures. Keep up the excellent work. That Rinehart Rd section from 46 to Lake Mary Blvd is the worst part. They really need to add something to force cars to at least look for cyclists and pedestrians. Other than that this is one of my favorite trails. Great job capturing it.

Such a well researched and informative video. Not sure I’ve ever seen so many at-grade crossings on a 20+ mile trail. Would you ever do a similar video doing The Villages north to south or similar. Wonder about bike paths vs golf carts there.
