Ed Gein Grave Site - Plainfield Wisconsin - Location of old House, Graves and town

A quick drive through Plainfield WI. As the foot prints in the snow indicates at the gravesite, there are a lot of visitors!
The grey building @ 2:00 was former Hardware store.
Gravesite - Ed Gein Marker missing - Records show it was stolen by a band in Seattle and then sold/found and is in a Museum now.

His grave is currently unmarked, as he died in 1984 and hist headstone was stolen and turned up in Washington state. Henry was his brother who died tragically. My mom's family is from Wisconsin Rapids, and she was born in 1949, she told me of him when I was a kid, after I discovered him from a song by the band Slayer in 1990.

My band Kuckel Drager played at the Plainfield Opera House May 1st 2004. …and yes it was weird! The crowd loved us, but the adults that ran the place didn’t look too happy when we told the audience we’d give away merch to the first person that showed us Ed’s plot.

Looks like Ed Gein grave gets a lot of visitors I heard that people have picnics at the place where he lived
