Ed, I've enjoyed Neotokyo a lot over the years. And I've listened to the soundtrack, including this at least twice as long as I've played the game. I've spent literal days listening to this sole compilation over the years, and that's not including all the rest. If I had the money to, I would literally fund you to make as much music as you want, with the stipulation that it releases for free. Thank you. I hope you'll do well.

This would be incredible if this were to happen. Your Neotokyo soundtrack is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard. For me, your music paints a much more accurate picture of the world of Ghost in the Shell than Yoko Kannos music ever could. You managed to represent an entire world without even saying a single word.

I love his music, but I can’t compare it to Yoko Kanno's music. Kanno's music for GiTS felt very international and arguably alien at times, which is partially what draws me to her soundtrack for the series. I feel like it’s more comparable to Kawai's music for GiTS if you discount the vocal tracks.

I used to play this a ton as a young teen.. geeze feels like a lifetime ago on the older Source engine and Steam! Something about the mod Neotokyo was special, I wish it'd see an official spiritual successor one day. Your soundtracks are top-notch! Captures that cyberpunk/dystopian essence akin to Ghost in The Shell.

I would've loved if they inclouded Ed Harrison and some of his music, you can feel the lack of a soul in the soundtrack, they needed songs like the ones he can create, something to connect in Night City, something to explore and live that distopía, the rock and electro it's not bad, pretty cool actually, but they lack the soul in the soundtrack. Songs like Winds Over Neo Tokyo, Requiem and Kaneda's theme from Akira or Flying Museum and Making of a Cyborg from Ghost In The Shell are the soul of the soundtrack, it's a Ci-Fi subgenre i know, but talks a lot about what makes us humans, where the flesh starts and where the machine ends, such a mystical and perfect genre, most of the time part of that spiritual journey can be heard in the soundtrack, and the fact Cyberpunk 2077 fails in presenting a quality soundtrack is such a shame (Sorry for the bad english! Just wanted to share my opinion)

Almost 6 years after discovering your work, I still find myself baffled by what you managed to create. I always wondered: did Square Enix headhunt you to work on their soundtrack after stumbling upon your magnum opus ? So simple, yet so complex. If I had just played the mod and never listend to the music, I don't know what I'd think, but roaming the maps in Gmod and listening to them makes me think of a whole new world that held (and still does) so much potential for something great. Excellent work. It's a damn shame that you made all this and it never got to make it in any part of the mod, though I know the .wav files are in it. The fact that you made it all is an accomplishment in itself. Great work!
