No way! My family of 5 ALSO ate an endless supply of every variety of Chex cereal to get free airline tickets to Denver! I think it was 1982 and Republic Airlines. This is one of my favorite family trip memories. Like Ed's family, we traveled around to the national parks and squeezed into one hotel room, although we stayed in Best Westerns, not HOJOs. We were lucky enough to go on the adventurous white water rafting tour, though. There's even a picture of 12 year old me being thrown out of the raft by the rapids. Hard to believe I'm still willing to eat Chex cereal. Great podcast episode!

The last HoJo was in Lake George, NY and closed in 2022 (I just looked it up). We used to stop at those on our vacations as well. This was a great episode and the wall of brochures WAS always so exciting!

That was last the restaurant. The hotels are still around. There are 285 of them worldwide with 140 in the US. Now known as Howard Johnson's Wyndham.

I also flew out west with a few lane ticket from Chex cereal. And we stayed at the Buckhorn Inn when we went to the Worlds Fair in Knoxville. Small world.

My sisters and I would stuff pillows and balloons in our pants and shirts to mimic Dolly Parton's curves. Yes, we went to Dollywood . No, I don't remember the trip. 😂❤

Here’s another yin/yang. ‘Posh’ people in England are quietly spoken upper-class people, whilst ‘Sufis’ in the Middle East are those whirling dervish guys who spin around all over the place. 🤔

Are corrections allowed here too? If so, it's not 'between Josh and I', it should be 'between Josh and me'. If you wouldn't say 'for I and X', 'between I and X', 'to I and X' etc. then you shouldn't say 'for X and I', 'between X and I' or 'to X and I'. 'I' is the subject and 'me' is the object.
