I remember it ran like a dog on mine, and most of my mates too! So that was a bit of a shambles already. Oh and lastly it was supposed to come out on Playstation and be an actual proper light gun game (presumably compatible with the G-Con), at some point that was canned. @@Xyphoe I think there is patch out there that someone made for it so that it works with the Sinden light gun. I don't have a Sinden light gun so I've not been able to test it myself. I really need to get one!

I'd never heard of this game until about an hour ago when it was mentioned in a little known PS1 games video by Austin Eruption. I had this channel's page open in another tab because I was going to come here soon as I finished some videos there. I'll just assume this is some 3 am witching hour stuff because it fits the theme and it's actually 3 am.

My goodness: I remember when this game came out I had just discovered Maiden through No. of the Beast and was HOOKED. When I heard they were releasing a video game my joy knew no boundaries. Until it was released…

I'm not gonna lie, I kinda miss the weird trend of random bands getting games. Not just music games like Beatles Rock Band, but like...Journey had a platformer in space, Aerosmith had a rail shooter, even 50 Cent has had some adventure titles. Bring back that weird trend. Like why was there never a System of a Down point and click or a Barenaked Ladies life sim farming experience. It is a shame this game turned out not very good, because a lot of those references and stuff are pretty cool and I think there was potential with an idea like this.

That was a great video, thanks. I was in my mid twenties deciding wether to buy Ed Hunter. I already had the songs on other albums but it has a new Iron Maiden based game! What shall I do? I didn't get it, licensed games had a bad reputation. Thank you for your video confirming I made the right decision all those years later!

Iron Maiden was a great NWOBHM band. I liked the Paul Di'anno era of the band the best especially Wrathchild and the Maiden Japan album. I always hoped Di'anno would have released his own version of Powerslave as a cover but as far as I know that never happened. Up The Irons!

That just reminds me of all the bad Interactive CD-ROMs games that came out in the mid 90s. My most disappointing one was the Prince one. Anyways cool video once most always good to remember something from the past, looking forward to the next one.

Great to see you back Tamara! Iron Maiden is awesome & so is rock & heavy metal in general ☺️ Very surprised the game was a rail shooter, I love those especially Panzer Dragoon II Zwei! Overall the game looks disappointing as you stated & the fans deserved better! Though this got me motivated to listen to the bands music & it is kick ass! Thank you for the video & can't wait for the next one!

I'll admit I did not think a maiden tie in game was going to be great, same with most tie in games. It was however worse than I thought it might have been.

Interesting look at a game I've not played (and most likely won't 😉) The late 90s was a weird time for these types of on rail shooters. Judge Dredd in '97 Maximum Force also in 97 So I wonder if they looked at those and thought there was still a market for them.

Bruce was such a stud in the 80s. Maiden and Detente are the two best bands. Trooper, Hallowed Be Thy Name and Where Eagles Dare are their best songs but there are too many 10/10 songs to mention. Looks like on the vote Thine Trooper got voted two under a live virgin of the self titled song live. That's weird. For live I'd go Total Eclipse from the best concert ever made 1982 Hammersmith. RazorFist is good but he can suck it with his negative opinion on Number oF The Yeast. Great album.

@@Tamaracade detente best songs Holy War Vultures iN The Sky Blood I Bleed They're more thrash than Maiden. Most my life I called Maiden my favorite band but I consider Holy War like my theme song. I might be texting too long. You can skip reading what you just read. 1982 Hammersmith is the best concert ever made.
