Ed has got to be one of my favorite guests. His upbringing, the way he tells stories, and the general chemistry he has with David just makes for a killer combo.

Living in France, the price shown is always the one with taxes. The bill tells you how much the product is taxed. When I traveled in the USA years ago , having to pay "more" than expected was so weird and I couldn't adapt.
@CamberRockerCamber3 жыл бұрын
That's what I liked about France. Made shopping easier because you knew exactly what you were paying.
@nyanray3 жыл бұрын
@@CamberRockerCamber only place I've seen this is the US. It's insane, then there's also the tip, if you're in the US. Then there's the exchange rate, if you're visiting, so you never know what you're actually paying 😂

The rest of the world includes the tax in the price. Grow up, America

@@nyanray yep! Been two a few countries. France, Spain, Mexico, and Korea. All of those countries have the tax included in the listed price. For some reason America is too dumb to do it. And the tipping culture in America is the worst.

If it's $20.03 or even $20.43, I'd let it slide. Always asking for discounts at small businesses, but they could easily spend $20 PLUS TAX for a meal at McDonalds, no questions asked.
