Don't bother he was a bum, never coached a game in his life ... wait on it you will find the it wasn't so peachy with him, the staff and the players. LSU will be fine, but ask yourself where was this running game in the early part of the season, why arent they using the same D as they won the national championship with. Both decisions were made by coach O, the same guy who dumped his wife of 20+ years dating several other women and tried to pick up a married woman who was pregnant who is married to a top LSU official. The only love he had was the young women.

I know you heard his women children was running drills with the players while they tired to prep for Clemson. This wasn't nothing new just another case that lines up with firing. I been a supervisor for 10years the one thing they tell you. I had to build a case file against an employee about the time they came in for work, the attitude toward me and other employees. They had to be fired because they didn't meet the requirements for the job but it had to be documented. Everyone listed in the document had to show up court the hearing ... however he didn't. Now the director of HR thought of the guy highly, but she didn't know what type of person he really was ... My point people on the outside have no idea whats going on behind closed doors. The guy was doing drugs and was caught doing it on company time.. Coach O was okay what he did outside of his job but when his personal life affects his job he had to go.

LSU needs to completely disassociate all ties with Orgeron. I'm actually surprised they're letting him finish the season. His passion and love for the university are two of the absolute least relevant characteristics needed by any coach. When you do things the right way, when you care, when you fit perfectly with the culture of the program , and when you have won a National Championship very recently, you deserve WAY more benefit of the doubt than Coach Ogeron is getting here. Were talking about a season and a half after a National Title and your canning a guy that bleeds purple and yellow. Nearly every comment on here supports him in one way or another. Who else wants to sign up for this job? They have now canned 2 National Championship winning coaches. What do ya got to do to stay on this job?

About the only thing he did was care. You should read about all the issues he’s had with character. He’s not a great or even good coach but he could recruit.
@cosmic_sloth2 жыл бұрын
The only thing he did right was hiring Joe Brady and rolling the dice on a new transfer QB that turned out prolific. Lightning in a bottle. The program fell apart as soon as that 2019 LSU team and its staff left, which says less about Coach O and more about the people who left. He cared for sure, everyone wants to win, but he cared more about chasing college girls and having a party life. Divorced his wife immediately after winning the champion, multiple photos and videos with him sleeping with and dating a harem of 20 year old girls, bringing his multiple girlfriends to practices and letting their 10-12 year old sons disrupt practice enough for players to miss multiple reps. It's no wonder a lot of the remaining talent on the roster checked out in 2020 and still don't care in 2021. That's the coach you want to support? I'm sorry, but if Coach O stayed he'd run LSU into the ground, you'd become a Tennessee in the SEC West and won't recover from it for a long time.
@PurpleChevron2 жыл бұрын
You nailed the problem with this. Nebraska made this mistake. Texas made this mistake. And this is even worse. Coach O is the 4th season of HUNG
@tokindawg32712 жыл бұрын
🤦♂️dude LSU’s problem isn’t Coach O. Don’t fire your head coach, change your DC and position coaches, train up the 2 good recruiting classes y’all just got and be good again. This was a stupid move by LSU coach O brought a great mentality to the program and does know what he’s doing. The SEC is a super conference you can’t expect to be gods every year with the rotation of the entire roster every 4 years.

This is a great thing. There is so much behind the scene that we might hear in years to come. He ended his career at LSU as he did at Ole Miss with controversy and the team is suffering for it. What could have been, the last two years, if things would have stayed the same but players did not agree with his thoughts and may not have wanted to play for him. Anyway, LSU is moving on and with the talent we have and will bring in, with the right head coach, will bring LSU into another natty. God Bless and good luck.

We could use a defensive line coach and fantastic recruiter of his caliber at Alabama and we have a nationally renowned coaching program. Come to Bama for a couple years and rejuvenate your career Coach O.

The ‘weight’ of $18 million will keep him strong and optimistic!! If the school could PROVE anything, they wouldn’t have offered him the buyout!! He’s a GREAT GUY who we can’t wait to see where he ends up!!!!

This is such a mistake. Truth be told the Athletic Director didn't hire him and there's been tension. You can't count the 2020 season as we were hit with Covid-19. So, after having the best season in the history of college football, one non-championship season and they let him go. This isn't about Coach O, the players, the recruits or the season. This is about that front office. Nick Saban built his program and won and they let him go due to money. Les Miles won and they fired him due to clashes with the front office. And now after building this program back and doing what has never been done in LSU History, they are letting Coach O go. Sad, so sad.

Coach O is a class act. I didn't approve of the remark he made walking into the stadium about the "sissy" colored shirt or something to that effect or the remarks he made in the Alabama visitor's locker room but our emotions get the best of all of us sometimes. Not one person can deny Coach O's love for the State of Louisiana or the young men he coached. Louisiana should be proud of him and I believe that Coach O is a damn good man. I have been an Alabama fan since birth and I love the SEC. I wish Coach O nothing but success and happiness in his future, as long as it isn't against my Crimson Tide lol. Good luck in the future Coach O, college football needs more coaches who feel the undying love for their program and state like you have. That being said, Geaux Tigahs and Roll Tide. You are one of a kind Coach O.
