I'm 66 years old. I was a USC Football fan from the time I was 7 years old. The ups the downs you expect being a long term fan. When USC passed over Ed Orgeron as coach I gave up on them. I couldn't be happier for Ed, he simply got the opportunity he earned. LSU is very lucky to have Ed as their coach and a lot smarter than USC.

For real? U think he is a that great? Let me break it down. 1) he nearly got fired 2x. LSU made him hire another offensive coach. His expertise is defense however their D is atrocious. LSU struck gold with a 23 year old QB and an NFL QB coach, but don't get it confused because coach O has zero to do with that side of the ball.

@Brandon Langley I like Oklahoma .. We did make it to the Natl Champ game that year for the 5th time in 8 yrs... We lost and had to wait 13 more years to win another title.. I guess we will see how much longer we will have to wait.. LSU and Oklahoma have been waiting 18 or 19 years so we will see if either team can win it... I just think that right now its hard to argue against LSU not being the best team in college football.. They have played a toughest schedule of the 4 teams so Oklahoma is going to have to step it up times 5.. Lincoln is going to be a great coach... Its a good thing he's young.. Charles Adams lol LSU spreads to run and their ran game has been legit since the Florida game. They ran all over Auburn’s front 7. Georgia has a GREAT run defense , so they kept LSU honest but the passing game is the real deal. I would be mainly concerned with Clemson. I don’t think OSU is going to win that game. Just my opinion. Clemson is not a team you want to play, especially considering how fresh their players are and the GREAT coaching staff . But honestly it’s gonna be really hard for LSU to win the National Championship without Clyde Edwards-Helaire. That guy was literally the run game at times , making people miss in the back field and breaking multiple tackles.

that's what USC has been missing, discipline and fundamental coach, USC really hasn't been the same since 2006 Rose Bowl and I was in the 6th grade at the time lol so there's been a losing streak for awhile. If you ever spend any time in south Louisiana you will see a lot of similarities in our cultures. Texas and south Louisiana are both hard working people with strong family ties. Hunter 4net yea he’s a playmaker. He’s also an elite elite runner for a freshman. Hopefully he slides into that slot role for Justin Jefferson when he’s gone next season. (Pretty sure Jefferson’s draft stock is too high to come back with Joe Burrow leaving as well) Palmer would EAT in that role that Jefferson plays. I’m not saying Devonta Lee will be exactly like Dez Bryant but that kid has a lot of similarities to Dez Bryant’s game , especially the way he bullies DBs, and he’s built a lot like him. Oklahoma is the first team LSU has played that averages just about the same amount of yards and points as them and gives up just about as many points and ysrds on defense idk if we cot have asked for two games with teams so closely matched Of course the point spread has LSU favored by 14 points but people need to know that’s only to get money put on both team’s I would actually expect thdt number to increase or decrease by kick off depending on which team is receiving Td kodt bets, but only a stupid person would bet LSU -14. Last year ou gave Bama who was a 13.5 point favorite a 28 point lead in the first 5 minutes and bama couldn’t increase it & only win by 1 If this is more than a 1 score game I would be surprised but I would not be surprised if it was a over time game, I would expect to see ou ru the ball the second half if it’s just a 1 score game and play the clock to try to take the lead with as little time remaining as possible
