Great information. I use Vardenafil 5mg (Levitra) doesn’t seem mentioned often. Similar med to Sildenafil (Viagara) is my understanding. Good success although the package says can be used without regard to food I do agree a full stomach and high fat meal might not be the best plan. Controlling the head game “doubt and worry” is certainly a challenge. Exercise for overall health, stamina and weight loss is important - closing in on 70.

I was having diminishing returns from Sildenafil at max dose and Tadalafil at 10 mg works so much better and requires less planning than Sildenafil because on Sildenafil you have to have not eaten for 2 hours so it might be 3 hours before I was ready with Sildenafil.

I have been taking low dose tadalafil which works well but has had another curious benefit for me. I have suffered with painful arthritis in my fingers toes and hands. As soon as I started taking this low dose regularly 95% of the pain has gone. It's a huge difference. It use to be if I stubbed a toe I would hit the ceiling in pain. Not any more. I do not know how this medicine is working on my arthritis. I am just happy it is.

When I lost weight in the summer and controlled sugar intake, my libido was stronger and was able to perform longer. But once my weight rebounded, my performance went down again!! I love baby beets, pickled, I remember vividly eating an entire jar of the little buggers one evening, next morning after my usual coffee I had my usual bowel movement, EXCEPT just as I was about to flush I noticed some RED in the water around my poop, I was horrified and spent the next 6 hours thinking death was imminent.....THEN I REMEMBERED THOSE PESKY BABY BEETS!!!!! Spot on, Dr. Malik! For me, in addition to the no alcohol and no high fat foods (til after sex!) guideline, drinking a lot of water really helps. Take your body weight in pounds, cut it in half... and drink that much water per day. For example, a 200 pound person should drink 100 ounces of water per day. It helps with everything, including sex.

Please do a video on side effects. I tried one. It worked quite well for it's intended use. However for two days afterwards I felt congestion around my heart. A cardiologist suggested blue pills may not be compatible with people like me who naturally have low blood pressure. I am healthy otherwise. Do not smoke or drink. I don't think it's a good idea to put my heart at risk. So now I am working on strengthening my pelvic floor instead.

Unlike most people, I suffer from low blood pressure. I was told I have the BP of a pregnant woman. Though I'm 75, I exercise vigorously daily. I was taking nitric oxide for a couple of years until I change to L-Citrulline 3 times a day. It's not like being 20 but I wake up most mornings with a strong tent pole. When I lived in Oman my PSA spiked again at 7.2. I have enlarged prostate (77ml now), prostatitis/BPH and Gleason 3+3 PC on right mid apex (have had 4 biopsies and 5 MRI). Saw Urologist in Dubai and he performed multiple MRI. Prescribed Tadalafil saying it might help with urine flow. I did not know it was used for ED as well. I started to notice a ringing in my ears caused by it after a couple weeks. And now, I have tinnitis since I stopped taking it after only 2-3 weeks in 2016. Fine print on adverse reactions on these meds even says can cause deafness.

I take 2x30 mg Sudafed about 20 minutes before Sildenafil, and that keeps the congestion at bay. If I take them simultaneously, not so much. I also expect to take a couple of Tylenol later, but my headache doesn't hit until the end of session.

60+ guy here - works best for me if I take 1/3rd dose 3 hours before 'event', 1/3rd 2 hours and 1/3rd 1 hour before. I accidentally found this out when I took a half dose because we might have to postpone, which we did, and then I took the other half and we waited an hour - and it worked great. Trial and error - ended up best result with 1/3rd an hour apart and sort of 'build it up'. But avoid any 'stimulation' during the 3 hours - that weakens the affect.

All this information is good but a HUGE benefit is if your partner totally understands the issue and is patient. If it doesn't work right away you have two hands and a tongue. After some time rolling in the hay you'll be surprised how well it works. I also found what works for me is I'll cut the tadalifil in half. Take the day before she arrives then a whole one when she gets here. That works most the time.

What if I've been on 20mg daily of Escitalopram for years? What effect might this have on the efficacy of Sildenafil? I'm one of those people who tried Sildenafil once and it didn't work and I gave up. I'm highly encouraged by the data you present in this video so I now plan to try a few more times. But I've always felt that the Escitalopram, which has already kills my libido, was at least partly responsible for my ED. I just want to add one word of advice on taking sildenafil- be very careful if you are on blood pressure medication. Particularly if you are on multiple blood pressure meds. Sildenafil (viagra) dumps my blood pressure SIGNIFICANTY. While I’m normally 120/70, when I take sildenafil my blood pressure is around 90/58 for at least 2 hours after sex. And that is with me skipping one of my afternoon blood pressure meds. My GP told me of an instance where one of his patients passed out from low blood pressure due to sildenafil. Be careful. Start with a low dose. I took a 50mg pill and split it the first few times to be on the safe side. I now take 50mg.

I get Tadalafil by mail. The product is called Blue Chew, and it's a blue pill that you chew up. I'm ready for action in half an hour. I also smoke and drink beer every day. I think chewing it up helps it get there faster. But I wouldn't do that with a normal Cialis or Viagra. Blue Chew is formulated like a candy, it's sweet and tastes great when chewed. Not a sponsor.

I was taking daily Tadalafil 5mg for awhile and noticed that its effectiveness decreased a little over time. So I have 10mg Tadalafil to take on days with the lady. Another thing I’ve done, which I wouldn’t recommend, unless you check with your doctor first, is supplement the daily Tadalafil with L-Citrulline or beet root capsules. When I do that I don’t need the 10mg at all because the nitric oxide boost turns me into a superpower. I’ve never had any negative side effects doing this. The only thing that gets annoying with nitric oxide boosters is they make you urinate A LOT. But it’s worth putting up with for the slamming erections. I don’t need a lot of the nitric oxide booster either because I’m already taking Tadalafil. 1500-2000mg of L-Citrulline or beet root capsules will fix you right up. CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST if you have low blood pressure issues.

I took sildenafil 25 mg in beginning it worked very well after sometime I had to increase the dosage & started using 100mg , that also not sufficient enough to get erection so I increased the dosage 100×5 , initially it was good but after say 5 or 6 times it was not working adequately. For people with lower blood pressure, ~ 100 over 65, what do you recommend? I have almost passed out attempting medication.

The less you do physically as you get older the less your heart and lungs do. The weaker your heart gets the lower the blood pressure. There is no need to get feeble as you get older it can be hard work but when you hit a certain point of fitness it feels great and gives you the inclination to keep it up. I take this once in a while. I can stand up tall and hard but keeping it up is a little more difficult then it used to be. I have HPB so I use the little blue pill sparingly and I take things to offset the side effects. I have taken Cialis but the insurance pays for the other one. I prefer Cialis as the side effects are not so harsh. Taking the blue pill messes with my BP and my joints ache for a day or two after I take it.

I used 5mg of daily use cialis for 7 years, worked great, just took it any time. But last two years I’m getting less effective results. I’m asking doctor to increase to 10mg

Both those give me the worst back pain. I wish I could find I way to avoid this.

I had the opposite of this. It worked great to begin with at 50 mg strength. After 5 years, it quit working so I went to 100 mg. Again, it worked great for about a year then started working less until it no longer helped at all. A urologist put me on the penile shots. Those didn't work at all after 5 or 6 tries. I've been 100% impotent for a year. I don't drink. I don't have diabetes. I don't have heart problems. It all just quit working.
