Genuinely shocked to see Optical in his backwards hat and Hawaiian shirt, white beard, the gut!! Looks like a dad! I know.. time moves on, we all get older... I'm heading in the same direction as Optical, close behind lol. Just a little taken aback this time. I have a major fondness for both, own tons of their releases on vinyl and for some crazy-ass reason I was able to hang out with them when they played the little old Club Skyline (see footage of Skyline from another night on my channel) in Philly in the mid 90's. They were drunk out of their minds and I was still in high school. But the scene there, everyone was always so nice and supportive.

I wish the DnB scene was like this in the US. We had a decent run for a lil bit in the early 2000s but besides a few festivals here and there it's pretty much DEAD. And I've NEVER been to an event this massive in the US. The biggest was ULTRA and though it was packed the DnB crowd was pretty thin compared to the house and techno and all that. I cannot believe how massive DnB is in England. I'm 100% going to London for my 2024 vacation!
