Hello, the first room that you showed my husband and I stayed in it, its suite 2606. We would go across to the restaurant at the beach for breakfast and lunch. We loved that restaurant because it was buffet, good food and wonderful view. We truly enjoyed the resort and would love to go back. Next time we want to try a swim up.

Hi Robbo, thanks for your note. Your question re: El Dorado Suites and El Dorado Palms. They are basically the same resort. They share all facilities with guests at either property. Same owner. I think of the two resorts as two different sections of the same hotel. The Seaside Suites has nicer rooms with better views, but no beach to speak of itself, but is next to the Palms. The Palms has a good beach and closer to more dining options. Guests at the Suites and Palms can share the same beach and same restaurants. Thanks again for your comment.

Hi Brad. Your question re: El Dorado Suites and El Dorado Palms. They are basically the same resort. They share all facilities with guests at either property. Same owner. I think of the two resorts as two different sections of the same hotel. The Seaside Suites has nicer rooms with better views, but no beach to speak of itself, but is next to the Palms. The Palms has a good beach and closer to more dining options. Guests at the Suites and Palms can share the same beach and same restaurants. As I mentioned, the rooms are nicer at the Suites. The beach is nicer at Palms. The resorts are a 5-minute walk apart and a shuttle is available if you prefer to ride. And, as mentioned, guests at both resorts can dine at both resort restaurants. Hi Isaak, and greetings from Cairo, Egypt. In the coming weeks watch for some Egypt videos. Yes, you are correct re: restaurant reservations. During the pandemic they have only seated every other table, which makes reservations tough. I am hoping things open up soon. Thanks for your note.

Hi Antonia, thanks for your note. My apologies for the delay in responding as I just returned from a two-week sailing adventure in Tahiti and French Polynesia. For your age group, you may want to research and consider the Margaritaville and Hyatt Ziva, both in Cancun (remember Cancun's "seaweed season" runs May to October and can rally pile up on the beach and in the water). In Puerto Vallarta, I really like the Hyatt Ziva which offers seclusion and an almost private beach. All rooms at the HZ-PV are ocean front or ocean view and you're only a short and inexpensive cab ride to Old Town and the Malecon. Congratulations on your wedding!
