Best resort ever ,,,, My husband and I got married and celebrated my birthday 😍😍😍. ….here and we just loved it. It’s a lot of walking but guess what they have golf carts to take you to and from.

We honeymooned here in 2019. I would recommend this resort but don't get caught up in the timeshare presentations.

Hi Mia, and greetings from Cairo, Egypt. In the coming weeks watch for some Egypt videos. Thanks for your note. I'm confident you will enjoy the ED Seaside Suites (SS) as much as I do. The beach at SS is nothing, but you are next door to the SS sister property the El Dorado Seaside Palms which offers a great beach. It's a 5-minute walk (at a slow pace) or you can take a shuttle from the SS lobby. And remember you can dine at either resort. gracias por su carta!

El Dorado Royale or El Dorado Seaside ?? Are they just sister hotels you can take a shuttle too ?

Hi Greg, thanks for your note. The El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Seaside Suites are sister properties, but there is no shuttle between them as they are 40+ miles apart. The Royale is a large property with many facilities and activities. I've always enjoyed my stays there. The Seaside Suites are a beautiful property. Each suite has an infinity pool, which is really nice. The beach at Seaside Suites is mostly rocks, but the El Dorado Palms next door offers a beautiful beach and welcomes SS guests. It's an easy walk between two hotels. A shuttle is also available. Thanks again for writing. Enjoy your stay. Both hotels are great.

Do the valet beds cost anything? Can people use both the infinity and palm areas?

Hi Charles, thanks for your note. I know of two "valet" beds types. 1) a Bedside Valet Assist helps users get in and out of bed with ease. The four bar levels accommodate most user heights and add convenience, and 2) a cabana type covered bed/lounge on the beach. I am assuming you are referring to the latter. There are some cabanas reserved for select room types, including suites and the hotel's premium section. And, yes, all persons are welcome at both the infinity and palm areas. I really enjoy the Seaside Suites. I'm confident you will be. Please let me know how it goes.

For "All Inclusive" is everything already paid for? Or do you still pay for food or/and drinks? Or is it in a way some restaurants are considered included and others not along with drinks? I just can't find anywhere what their version of "All-Inclusive" means lol.

Thank you for your note. Traditionally, "all inclusive" means your resort/hotel stay, meals, drinks, and non-motorized sports activities. I just returned two days ago from Cancun. The all-inclusive I stayed in included all restaurants, except one. I have found this to be the exception rather than the rule. When considering an all-inclusive stay, be sure you know exclusions to your stay. Also, spa treatments is additional. Thanks for tuning into my "Getaway Guru" travel channel.

This resort sucks.I caught a parasite from this resort. Terrible entertainment food is just ok. Everything's far apart you're lucky enough to get transport half the golf carts don't work. Staff not friendly. Mixed drinks aren't consistent.

Hi David, thanks for your note. I am sorry to hear your stay at the El Dorado Seaside Suites did not live up to expectations. My experiences there have always been good. Sorry to hear about yours. My apologies for the delay in responding. My wife is dealing with cancer and my attention has been with her. But good news! After surgery, chemo, and radiation, she is making wonderful progress toward recovery. During this time I have not been adding new posts, but will start again, likely in February. Thanks!

El Dorado Seaside Suites resort is not what is use to be. Maintenance is not being kept up, the food quality has also gone bad. This resort is the biggest disappointment ever. The founder of the Resort chain turned control over to his daughter and her husband has been running the resorts. Furthermore, the son-in law has been cutting standard amenities, activities, shows and basically going cheap and yet wanting to charge a premium price for what use to be consider a 5 star resort that's now at best 3 stars. The place is very depressing and I would never recommend anyone to stay at this resort. And if you would ask me if I would return to this place, my answer straight up is a diffidently NO. Better to use you money at another resort. Seaside Suites is poorly managed!
