They both got married to separate people and sadly both marriages ended due to the other partner passing away. And basically they went through this horrible time filled with heartbreak and pain together as friends. Anyway my mum had her 50th not that long ago, and she of course invited my godparents. Now when you get to 50 wine starts to hit you harder so everyone got piss drunk on wine. At the end both my god parents ended up on the same train back to south London, and my god father got down on one knee and proposed, and she said yes. It's beautiful. I use to sing this song everyday after I broke up with my ex. It's like running 10 miles crying every step on the way and singing this song. This tears me up still. I wanted to share a few thoughts...maybe you could relate? A poet is born out of necessity when the words can't be contained inside us anymore. A songwriter is born to structure the poem in a way so one could sing their heart out. Songwriting is like being able to articulate our soul's language - our hopes and dreams. Shining like a million stars in the sky, we rise from the ashes by choosing the right words to represent our ache or pleasure. I can't know where I am going with this, but all I am saying is that you should continue writing, no matter what. The world needs your heart, and your soul needs music. It's a win-win situation
