Does the Boss RC-300 make that much of a difference when compared to the RC-50? I want it, but $500 is a paycheck for me haha

Hey Mike! I’m honestly not sure. From the quick search I did it just seems like the Rc-300 is a little more user friendly and has the expression pedal. But I’ve never used the Rc-50 so I can’t speak to it... all I know is it was the first version and the Rc-300 is the latest upgrade from boss. Go for it man!

Yep, I have one cable coming out of the loopstation directly into my computer and I am just using garageband to record everything all on one track. Just have to make sure the levels are all good before recording!

Well done! Truly impressed! Very curious to know, is there a way to get the same number of loops with a much cheaper looper pedal (say one with only 2 pedals and not 8)? I have seen some boss and other brands out there but can not afford one as elaborate as this one. Again, really impressed and thank you for sharing your talent!

Hey Lou, thanks! So, I had a difficult time figuring out which looper to get for myself! Basically, I did a lot of research (Googling "top looper pedals" etc...) and this one was the best for your buck hands down, although I know, it is a bit pricey (I made payments haha). One thing I did notice is that there were either... one channel loopers or this particular 3 channel looper, there wasn't anything in between. I used the Digitech Jamman for about 5 years before I made the leap to the Boss RC-300. It served me well, although during that time I was playing around 200+ shows a year and I went through about 3 of the Jammans from wear and tear. I figured, if I have to keep buying these slightly cheaper ones... might as well pay more for a better one and take really good care of it! I've had it for a few years now and I love it! Hope that helps! Do some of your own googling though! Don't take my word for it! Cheers!
