I have a LOT of respect for Ed Sheeran. He is the only act that I know that can fill a 65,000 seat stadium and then do a 2 hour show that consists of him, a guitar and a loop pedal and NOTHING else. No band. No back up singers. No light show. Just him and a guitar. And then the crowd still demands encores. When you do an show like that, you have nowhere to hide. You had better be damned good. In the age of autotune and lip synch this is so rare.

Ed Sheeran is legit. Nearly all of his songs are excellent choices for either a wedding/graduation/funeral/or as a movie soundtrack 😂 All aspiring singers have done at least one Ed Sheeran cover 😂 Not only a great singer, but a talented songwriter.

Ed has been a huge fan of Van Morrison since he was young boy, and years ago even mentioned him inspiring him for thinking out loud. Ed mentions 'Van The Man' on the jukebox in 2 of his songs

@@veronicam2935 Hard for me to miss Van admirers. I saw the guy 3 times back in the day and bought 6 of his albums. Van was however, unlike Ed, a far more surly, brooding kind of guy who always seemed to have an antagonistic relationship with his audiences. Hopefully the years have mellowed him. I bought is album with Joey DeFrancesco which for me was only fair. Joey is a marvel though.

I came in to the Ed Sheeran love a little bit late. I think it was last year that I figured out who he is and deep dove into his music. My absolute favorite of his is Kiss Me. For me that song is kind of like those nights you dream about with your perfect person, whoever they might be. Where you're just laying in each other's arms and completely happy, falling in love with them for the first time.

My favorite singer. I love the video version w/ him dancing. They always sound better to me than the live stuff. Thanks for doing Ed. Ed also raps in his songs. I love too many to choose, but "Perfect" or "Galway Girl" are right at the top. I like Galway Girl because it has an Irish feel to it & being mostly Irish, I love the music (though I don't drink & can't relate to those lyrics, it's still a very fun song). Perfect because it's so relatable- his lyrics, " we were just kids when we fell in love", reminds me of my husband & I since we were 1st loves & I was 15. Please listen to more of him, you won't be disappointed. The whole "Divide" album is great.

Ed's grandad was fr a Northern Irish Protestant family who were loyal to Britain. His grandma was from a Catholic family who was loyal to the Republic of Ireland. My favorite version of this is Ed singing it in Irish Gaelic. I was amazed and delighted when I heard it playing in my grandaughter's car. She said her friends like it even more than the "regular" version. It's right there handy on You Tube if you want to listen to it.

He is so diverse. Every album is excellent and he purposefully makes each one different. He writes all his music. You should check out the official version of "Galway Girl" where he raps! Its excellent, and the official ,music video he shots himself with a gopro. Also Saoirse Ronon stars with him in the video (she's an actress who plays "Mary, Queen of Scots).
