I’ve been watching a lot of videos on these M’s lately. Your channel is super informative, more than most. Something I’ve recently realized, is that it didn’t occur to me until now, that the 2009 M35x that I purchased in August 2015, is fully loaded. I kept looking at the dashes, steering wheel controls, and center consoles of many from my year and before, and was wondering why certain control buttons were missing. The one I purchased had 80,000 miles, with a price of $17,000. I still have it, yet now with just over 127,000 miles. I still enjoy its performance and eye appeal. Yet it’s crazy how now I realize what a great deal I got back then. I think I’ve everything except the rear spoiler. Looks like I have the total technology package with the even the rear seats with cooling and heating. Even the rear seat foldout armrest console has an array of controls embedded. Kind of interesting.

Thanks for a good video. My 2008 M45 is 14+ years old and only has 66K miles on it. Great car to drive. One thing I made a mistake on is that the box lock got locked and kept me from closing it!

Hey have you ever had a clicking sound when you hit the gas in your infinity? It’s not too loud but noticeable.

Where does the clicking come from? Engine bay? Under car, behind a specific wheel? I recently bought a used 06 m45 sport. It had a clicking noise in the rear driver wheel well that would only happen at low speed or after braking and/or turning. Watching Ed's video's i was able to do a complete 4 wheel brake pad job by myself. I haven't been able to reproduce the clicking so im assuming the previous owner had the brakes done but maybe not done right. The shims were missing from both rear brakes. Now car runs nice and quiet

Hi Ed. Looking at that very first panel you remove to gain access(the one with the holes for your fingers). Do we have an official name or better yet, part number for it? I found a part number for the filter housing door with ease, but that first panel is driving me to Infiniti and beyond. Thanks ahead of time.

I believe it's officially called a glove box mask, part # *68520-AG000* or *68596-EJ80A* for the later years. Check me on that.

That Bluetooth in the glovebox was offered in US models, but it only does phone calls in this generation. For Bluetooth music, most people use aftermarket modules like: 1. Bovee 1000 2. US Spec BT45 3. From Audio

Be very easy on removing the top screws holding up the glove box.. you might want a helper.. the clips may need replacing, the get stretched out and bent easily and also the plastic holes the mounting clips slid over tend to break away.. I'm going to have to glue some sort of replacement plastic type repair to make new plastic to grip onto.. just My experience on my M 2011 Infiniti..cheers..
