Excellent tutorial...Your minor struggle with the glove box is why I just leave it in place and use really long Philips head screwdriver to remove the entire assembly...No fiddling with the dampener, then trying to realign everything...however, the trade off is difficulty reaching all seven screws and not losing them. Not sure if one way is faster than the other, but it's good to have 2 approaches.

Thank you for making this video. It was very helpful. Hardest part that I found was putting the glove compartment back in hooking the damper and putting it on the hinges. Easier if you are to the left at the door opening rather than straight on.

Good job. Thumbs up. And yes air flow is down. So if your filter says up next to the arrow it's simply telling you which side goes up. If it's a brand that says air flow next to the arrow, then the arrow points down.

Very nice demonstration of removing and re-installing. My son in law has a 2013 M37. Goodyear replaced his air filter and a week later his maintenance air filter light came on. Any ideas why?

Sorry for the late reply. That maintenance reminder you mentioned is a user-set reminder system. It's the modern equivalent of the sticker that tells you to change your oil at a certain time. You can turn it off

I usually say you can, as long as it's done right. So I take it to the dealership. But if you're not having any issues, Infiniti doesn't require replacement

From the forums, the people I know of have either switched out the audio unit for an aftermarket one, or just use a translator as needed.

@@EdBwoy I found the problem I had somebody install the spark plugs at a shop and they didn’t tell me that there was oil leaking in the spark plug cylinder but I had a friend look at it he said it probably needed a new valve cover gasket not so sure,any advice on what could cause oil in spark plug cylinder?thanks for your reply been watching your video for all my fixes and doing most myself

Check your mass air flow sensor.... I had the the very same problem. I'm pissed at myself for having a mechanic replace the sensor because it cost me over $800 when I could have easily purchased the part for $250 and installed it myself. I was in a rush and didn't realize how easy it was it replace yourself.
