I have watched a million of these video. I'm big on being ready for the worst and hoping for the best. I thought this was one of the better loadouts I have seen. Strong job. Thanks for sharing

Back when I didn’t have a car, I used to commute 15 miles to work in the winter with a full size folding Dahon bike. There was a train I could catch home in the evening, so I would fold up the bike and take it on the train with me. When there wasn’t snow or ice I used my motorcycle. Now that I have a car I might just keep the bike in the trunk. Could be a handy option for lots of scenarios.

Great video. I enjoyed the format. No fancy editing or videography just a great breakdown of the kit. Nice redundancies in critical areas as well...fire, water, cutting tools, first aid. Nice Oakley's too.

Great loadout and video. Might want to get some blue gloves instead of black. You can't see blood very well on black gloves.

Hello fellow Michigander. I recently got a vertex gamut 2.0 as well. Nice video. But in my humble opinion there is a lot of redundancy in your load out. Just in my opinion, maybe I’m wrong… but I think trimming some weight would be more beneficial, especially if you are in a situation where u need to trek long distances to get back to your home. Last I weighed mine was at 18.3 pounds with water, weapon and 4 mags. But I think I will still try to trim it down a bit. Don’t take this as me pooping on your video just trying to help. Maybe one day I’ll do a video on my setup.

Thanks for the video! I have a question that I cant find the answer to anywhere. Will a 40oz bottle fit into the zippered size pockets if they are empty? The size of the dedicated water bottle stretchy sleeve on the outside is a major drawback for me. Curious. Appreciate it.

Yes I do😆 there is a lot of great options out there. I might start looking into other brands and just make this my every day bag.

Do you carry this in the car or take it in wherever you go?

This bag stays in my truck at all times. I consider it may get home bag. If something happened to where I would have to hike home, it would probably take me an entire day to get home.

I never intended that they would be 100% waterproof. it's just to stop the gear from being totally soaked if the bag ended up being in the rain for a long time etc. maybe ill look into it. always appreciate feed back 👍

This is an un organized mess with redundant gear that definitely doesn’t qualify as EDC, and it’s lacking enough survival gear to qualify as a get home bag. Overall 2/10.
